Hi, I'm Maria :) I’ve just completed my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a journey I truly enjoyed. My studies gave me a deep understanding of people, psychology, and sociology – but they also gave me something just as important: time for personal growth, yoga, and reflecting on what kind of life I want to live.

Now, after finishing my degree, I’m excited to travel through Europe for six months to a year. I would love to spend time in Portugal, the UK, Scandinavia, and Poland – meeting new people, sharing skills, sitting around campfires, enjoying the sun, and being outdoors.

☀️Work & Experience

Over the past years, I worked as a personal assistant for a young woman with a severe chronic illness. I supported her in everyday life.

I also completed training in nutritional counseling and did several internships in large kitchens, so cooking and household tasks are very natural to me. Additionally, I worked for two years in counseling and facilitated workshops.

Confident cook & experienced in household management

Gardening skills – and eager to learn more about permaculture

Practical and hands-on, interested in learning woodworking and building skills

Good organizational skills & structured working style

Fluent in German (mother tongue) and comfortable speaking English

I love the balance between quiet time on my own and deep conversations, but also dancing, celebration, and action. In summer, you’ll find me at festivals, dancing barefoot, swimming in rivers, hiking in the mountains, or sitting by a campfire under the stars.

I’ve spent the last years doing trekking tours in the Alps and love camping. I enjoy being in nature – hiking, gardening, or simply reading outside with a coffee.

Creatively, I enjoy reading, painting, and playing the piano. I love animals, especially horses and cats – I used to take riding lessons when I was younger.

I’m looking for places where I can contribute my skills, learn new ones, share stories, cook together, work outdoors, and create something meaningful. I’m curious, responsible, and open-minded – and I’m looking forward to being part of inspiring projects and communities.
