I want to get experiences with local communities while also meeting other international people, by combining traveling and volunteering, to get more different work experiences as well.

During my bachelors I got the opportunity to live in Spain for 1,5 years, which really enhanced my interest for traveling, discovering different cultures and learning different languages, and I have continued to do so since. This way I've learnt Spanish and French, and I'm currently working on improving my Arabic. I've also recently discovered the world of volunteering, having done different projects in France, Morocco, and Turkey, and would love to do more of it in other countries. I am especially interested in projects related to animals and nature, but also hospitality/service, since it's a great way to connect with different people. I have long dreamed of going to Latin America, since I speak Spanish and am interested in discovering other cultures and countries connected to the language. And now I'll finally make that dream come true.

I have a big interest in languages, and also a lot of experience both studying and teaching them. I have a bachelors in linguistics in Spanish, and I have also taken classes in French and Arabic. English, together with my mother tongue Swedish, is the language I speak the best and also the first foreign language I learnt as a child. When it comes to teaching, I have experience teaching English, Swedish, and Spanish to smaller groups or individuals.

Que habilidades tienes?

I have a lot of experience working with people, both as a tutor/coach and as a waitress, which has really helped me develop my people skills and become more confident. Especially the waitressing has also taught me to work under high stress. Other than that I have also done a lot of international volunteering and interning during which I got to work in a multicultural and international group, which has improved my intercultural understanding and communication, as well as my language skills.

I also have a big passion for animals and nature, which is something I have gotten to work a bit with recently; I've volunteered at a rescue center in Morocco, mainly working with dogs, but also cats, donkeys and horses. During this experience I got to walk the dogs in groups and feed the different animals, as well as treating their wounds, giving them medication, and cleaning and repairing their enclosures. It was a challenging and intense experience from which I learnt a lot. I also recently participated in a volunteering project aimed at helping baby sea turtles in Turkey. The main tasks included cleaning the beach used as their nesting area, and walking 5 hours per night looking for baby sea turtles who got lost on their way to the sea, collecting them and then releasing them in groups. I also learnt about their life cycle and biology.

When it comes to my personality I am very open minded and curious, and I love meeting new people and learning new things. I would also say I'm a generally positive and driven person, who likes to be physically active, especially in nature. My two biggest passions in life are languages/culture and animals.
