I am Lianne, I am 24 years old and I live in the Netherlands. I am an active person and I love being outside more than anything. I like to go climbing, hiking, biking or camping and I love being in the mountains. I also read a lot of books. I study Biobased Sciences, which focusses on creating technological solutions to move away from fossil resources and use renewable resources instead. I am an social, curious and positive person. I love getting to know new people and learn about new perspectives. I like interesting conversations and I am not shy of a bit more personal or philosophical conversations.
I would like to do workaway because I want to learn about a completely different styles of living then what I am used to, and hopefully learn new skills so I can live in a way that is both inspiring and well suited to me. Furthermore, I hope that through workaway I will meet interesting like-minded people who care as much about our beautiful world as I do. I hope to broaden my views by learning from other people's perspectives.

I like hands-on practical work, where I can see that my work leads to nice results. I am analytical, a quick learner and a critical thinker. I am a fit, well-trained person and a hard worker.
I have worked a lot as a student teacher in different subjects, where I have gained experience with different teaching methods. I pick up new languages relatively easy, and I love learning and teaching new languages. I also have a lot of experience organizing events and leading groups, but I am also well able to follow directions.
I am experienced in outdoor skills like navigating, setting up camp and making fires. I have worked with horses for a long time on a natural horsemanship stable. Here, I have learned to communicate with and lead horses.
I am very interested to learn some mechanical and constructional skills. Although I am not very experienced yet, I have been experimenting a bit with fixing my own bike. I would also love to learn more about plants. My friends have been teaching me a bit, but there still is a lot to learn.
