❓ About Us

Hi! We’re Annie (27) and Levi (26) from the UK, a recently engaged couple who’ve been together since high school and are now setting off on a long adventure across Canada. We’re hoping to spend the year doing Workaways, meeting new people, learning new skills, and experiencing a more hands-on, outdoorsy lifestyle after years in corporate jobs.

We both fell in love with Canada during a trip in 2018 and have been dreaming of coming back ever since, hopefully for much longer! We’re excited to contribute wherever we go, whether that’s helping on a farm, looking after animals, or just lending a hand around the house.

👩 About Annie

I’m a trainee lawyer who absolutely adores animals and can’t walk past a dog without saying hello. I love meeting new people, reading, hiking, and finding great coffee spots wherever we go. Friends would describe me as friendly, funny, very caring, and always up for a chat.

👨 About Levi

I’m a chartered accountant who is organised, curious, and someone who enjoys solving problems and getting stuck into new challenges. I love all kinds of sports (both playing and watching) but especially football (soccer)! I have a pretty practical side too and love to do some cooking.

💚 About Us as a Couple

We’ve grown up together and supported each other through plenty of life’s ups and downs, which means we work really well as a team. We’re calm under pressure, adaptable, and always ready to laugh things off.

We’re best friends, but we also value our independence and quiet moments. We’re both curious about the world and love learning about different ways of life and cultures. More than anything, we want to make real connections with people and places, and spend time around animals (they bring us both so much joy - especially Annie!).

🧰 Skills & What We Can Offer

General help & practical skills
• Housework: Levi loves to cook and Annie loves to clean so we’re a great team!
• Cooking & kitchen help: grocery shopping, preparing meals, batch cooking, and cleaning up after.
• DIY & maintenance: sanding, painting, small repairs, labelling systems, and careful use of tools.
• Household organisation: stock checks, tidying shared spaces, keeping things running efficiently.

Animal care
• Experience with cats and dogs (feeding, walking, grooming, cleaning litter/kennels, administering simple meds).
• Calm, gentle, and consistent with routines. We’re both lifelong animal lovers and very comfortable following detailed care instructions.
• We would love to learn new skills looking after farm animals (Annie is obsessed with cows and horses and sheep and goats - basically any animal!)


Professional skills
• IT & tech support: troubleshooting, setup, and general problem-solving. Levi loves all things tech!
• Business & admin: with legal and accounting backgrounds, we can help with organisation, spreadsheets, systems, or general advice if needed.

Languages:
• English (native)
• Beginner Spanish, German & French but very keen to learn more!

Driving:
• Both hold full UK driving licences.

Availability:
• Planning to arrive in Canada in April 2026, hoping to stay for as long as possible.
• No mobility issues, dietary restrictions, or allergies.

🌟 What Motivates Us

We’re doing this trip because we want to live more simply, reconnect with nature, and learn new things from people with different stories to ours. We believe in kindness, curiosity, and giving back and we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves and be part of a new community, even for a little while.
