Hello!
My name is Lara. I’m originally from Toulouse, but I’m currently living in Paris. I’ve decided to start working as a freelance web writer so I can travel the world, make meaningful connections, and embrace a simpler way of living while developing new skills.
I love nature and all the activities that allow me to explore it while preserving it—hiking, cycling, diving or snorkeling, and boat trips.
I’m passionate about well-being, especially through the lens of Ayurveda. I practice yoga and strength training, and I absolutely love cooking. I also try to follow a vegetarian diet in my daily life.
I’m a smiling, positive person who loves meeting new people and discovering different ways of living.
I’m fluent in French and English, and I also have some basic knowledge of Spanish.

Hello !
Je m’appelle Lara. Je suis originaire de Toulouse, mais je vis actuellement à Paris. J’ai décidé de me lancer en rédaction web freelance pour voyager, faire de belles rencontres et adopter un mode de vie plus simple tout en développant de nouvelles compétences.
J’aime la nature et toutes les activités qui permettent de l’explorer tout en la respectant : randonnées, vélo, plongées, snorkeling ou sorties en bateau.
Je m’intéresse beaucoup au bien-être, notamment à travers l’ayurveda. Je pratique le yoga et la musculation, et j’adore cuisiner. J’essaye aussi de manger végétarien au quotidien.
Souriante et curieuse, j’aime rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et découvrir d’autres façons de vivre.
Je parle français et anglais couramment, et j’ai quelques notions d’espagnol.

I’ve been working in digital marketing for a few years, and I’m now starting out as a freelance web writer. I can also help manage a website or social media accounts.
I’ve worked in the wine and spirits industry (I passed my WSET Level 2) as well as in the hospitality sector. I’ve hosted several events and I’m very comfortable with customer-facing roles.

I’m certified in first aid (SST) and I’ve completed babysitting training, so I can also help with children. I can support them with homework as well — I graduated with a science-focused high school diploma and later attended a preparatory program for business schools.
I love cooking, so helping with meals is always a pleasure!

I’m also a huge animal lover. When I was younger, I wanted to become a veterinarian and even spent some time in clinics for hands-on experience. I’ve had a cat, a rabbit and a guinea pig — so I’m always happy to take care of animals.

I’m proactive, curious, and a fast learner. I’ve already done a bit of gardening and small DIY tasks, but I’m still a beginner. I’d really love to learn more and develop new hands-on skills!

Je travaille dans le marketing digital depuis quelques années et je me lance aujourd’hui comme rédactrice web. Je peux donc donner un coup de main pour gérer un site ou des réseaux sociaux.
J’ai travaillé dans les vins et spiritueux (j’ai passé mon WSET 2) ainsi que dans l’hôtellerie-restauration. J’ai animé plusieurs salons et je suis très à l’aise avec l’accueil de la clientèle.

Je suis certifiée SST (premiers secours) et j’ai suivi une formation de baby-sitting, donc je peux aussi aider avec les enfants. Je peux les aider avec les devoirs (j'ai fait un BAC S suivi d'une classe préparatoire aux écoles de commerce).

J’adore cuisiner, alors participer aux repas, c’est toujours un plaisir !

J’aime énormément les animaux. Plus jeune, je voulais devenir vétérinaire et j’ai même fait quelques immersions en clinique. J’ai déjà eu un chat, un lapin et un cochon d’Inde — bref, je suis toujours partante pour m’occuper d’eux.

Je suis proactive, curieuse et j’apprends vite. J’ai déjà fait un peu de jardinage et quelques petits travaux, mais je reste débutante. J’aimerais vraiment progresser et apprendre à faire plus de choses de mes mains !

Here’s a mixed list of other activities I enjoy:

- Traveling, of course: I’ve tried different ways of traveling, including an Interrail across Europe and even a hitchhiking competition to Morocco.
- Dance and music: I’ve practiced classical and jazz dance, and a bit of bachata. I also played guitar for 8 years when I was younger — I’ve unfortunately forgotten most of it, but I’d love to pick it up again.
- Board games
- Sports
- Spirit tastings (I’ve worked in the industry, so it definitely left its mark!)

Voici une liste pêle-mêle d’autres activités que j’aime faire :

- Voyager, bien sûr : j’ai testé plusieurs façons de voyager, dont un Interrail en Europe et même une compétition d’autostop pour aller jusqu’au Maroc.
- La danse et la musique : j’ai pratiqué la danse classique et jazz, et un peu de bachata. J’ai aussi joué de la guitare pendant 8 ans quand j’étais plus jeune — même si j’ai un peu oublié depuis, j’adorerais m’y remettre.
- Les jeux de société
- Le sport
- Les dégustations de spiritueux (j’ai travaillé dans le secteur, alors forcément, ça marque !)
