I am a Canadian WHV holder who is coming to New Zealand to explore its beautiful outdoors! I am keen on exploring rural/remote communities, tramping through the most beautiful rainforest and mountains, and meeting fellow nomads.

I am a Business graduate that loves a challenge with a genuine interest in international cultures! With over a decade of customer service, management, and tourism experience I am confident in my ability to adapt, learn quickly, and be a team player. I have demonstrated strengths in customer relations, administration, and communication within my career where I have been awarded promotions and recognition for my work ethic.

I believe a strong worker is someone who listens attentively, actively works alongside their team, and brings a positive atmosphere to their environment.

I am a responsible worker, taking accountability for my actions and words and understand that I am a representation of the company for which I work/volunteer for. While living accommodations may be in the same area as I work it remains important for me to keep composure, handle conflict maturely, and be understanding of other people who I work and may live alongside.

I love the outdoors and anything that keeps me in the sun! In my free time, you can find me hiking, reading, walking, exploring new regions and trying new sugary treats! Kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing are all activities that I have grown up with and love to enjoy when I can :) (I would love to expand my baking and cooking skills!)

Growing up with animals and critters affected me more than I can explain. I love animals and would Love to spend my time surrounded by dogs, cats, or even a whale if that can happen (haha)! I am comfortable taking care of animals and would enjoy giving cuddles and a walking companion to any furry friend.

I studied Business and History at Trent University in Ontario, and spent a year studying in France, where I fell in love with travel. No surprise I have worked seasonally the past few year and love learning new skills, exploring new regions, and pushing my boundaries.
