Hello! My name is Katie-Rose and I’m from Scotland.

I’m a dancer (mainly ballet, but I love dance in all its forms), and have many hobbies that keep me occupied, too.

I'm pretty fit and strong, and in good shape to be handling any physical work that might be required, as well as having lots of enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

I’m an amateur drummer – I’ve taken lessons on and off since I was little. I love exchanging favourite songs and artists with people and growing my knowledge of the music world.

I’m a passionate knitter – one day I would love to learn how to source, spin, and dye my own yarn.

Pottery and jewellery-making are both things I’m keen to throw myself into at the moment. Somewhere with the opportunity to learn about some of these things on days off would be fun:)

Ultimately, what motivates me and brings me happiness are my family, my friends, dogs and other furry friends. For me, rather than just travelling, it’s important to be learning, having a purpose and contributing to a community at the same time, which is why want to do a Workaway. I am really looking forward to meeting you, whoever I end up being welcomed by! I hope I can help to make your life easier, and share stories, music and laughter along the way.
