Hello!
I am Karam (30 yrs), and I love horses and cowboying! I am NOT traveling for the purpose of tourism but to learn as much as I can about horsemanship and cowboying around the world. I have a lot of experience working with horses and cattle in Canada, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia. I have skills in:
- Herding cattle
- Roping
- Starting and training colts
- Operating tractors and feeding bales
- Fancing
I also have a drivers license and 12 years driving experience.
I have a working permit in Canada until May 2026. It can also be expanded.
My working and learning journey has no time limit and I don`t have a return flight to Germany. If I come across a nice place which I love, I could stay there as long as I and my host would want me to stay.
After finishing my master degree in Culture Anthropology in Germany and doing a lot of different jobs I wanted to follow my passion for horses and cowboying to figure out if the life of a cowboy would be something I could imagine doing for the next years. After doing this job for more than a year now and learning about ranching in different countries I actually could imagine doing this job for a longer time cuz it really fulfilled me and made me feel alive more than any other job I have done until now.

I am a very uncomplicated and humble man. I am a hard worker and I am used to the simple way of living without luxury. I normally come along with almost everyone and always excited to learn from others. I speak English, German, Spanish and Arabic fluently.
I do a lot of sport and I have a strong fit body.

In September 2022 I finished my master's degree in culture anthropology. Before that I did my bachelor in Sociology and political science both in Germany. During my studies I learned a lot about cultural differences, human rights and international politics.
I am also a sport and horse lover which are actually my biggest passions. I do a lot of sport like climbing, hiking, jogging and more. Since the beginning of my journey for more than one year I have been working on different ranches with horses, cows and sheeps and I really loved the cowboy lifestyle and could learn a lot in this field. I became an excellent rider and I always enjoyed the work even if I had really long days. Being outside with the animals really made me feel alive and forget about time. I never really experienced that in any other job.
While studying I did many jobs to earn some money to finance my life in Germany while studying. I worked as a waiter in diverse local cafes and restaurants so I also gained some good experience in the field of hospitality and customer service. I also worked for a Swiss event management company.
Through my climbing experience in the Alps for the last eight years I could also gain mountaineering experience and would also be a good fit as a guide or an assistant in the field of touristic outdoor activities.
I am generally a humble man with a very modest life style. I like learing about other possibilities of being and doing things!
