Hello, I'm Josephine, Josie for short! I live in Germany with my father and my Border Collie. I am 18 years old and have been riding since I was 5 years old. Next year I will graduate from high school and in September I will start my studies, so I would like to use the time before my studies start to work on a farm and support the people there. Even as a little girl I always wanted to go abroad and experience farm life and ride horses there. I love travelling and meeting new people with different and exciting traditions. In 2024, I went on my first language study trip to Oxford all by myself, the time there was unforgettable and I made new friends from all over the world. That's exactly what I want to do now with Workaway, meet new people who can show me their everyday life and whom I can support. I would be delighted if you could be my host and make this possible for me.

Hallo ich bin Josephine, kurz Josie! Zusammen mit meinem Vater und meinem Border Collie wohne ich in Deutschland. Ich bin 18 Jahre alt und reite seit ich 5 Jahr bin. Nächstes Jahr werde ich mein Abitur machen und im September beginnt mein Studium, deswegen möchte ich die Zeit bevor mein Studium los geht nutzen, um auf einer Farm zu arbeiten und die Menschen dort zu unterstützen. Schon als kleines Mädchen wollte ich immer mal ins Ausland und dort das Farmleben erleben und dort auch zu reiten. Ich liebe es zu reisen und neue Menschen kennenzulernen mit anderen spannenden Traditionen. 2024 war ich auf meiner ersten Sprachreise ganz allein in Oxford, die Zeit dort war unvergesslich und ich habe neue Freunde kennengelernt aus aller Welt. Genau das möchte ich jetzt mit Workaway auch, neue Menschen kennenlernen, die mir ihren Alltag zeigen und die ich unterstützen kann. I have been riding since I was 5 years old and have experience with stable work, competitions, show jumping, dressage, riding out, trail riding and young horses. I am currently helping a man train his 4-year-old horse, mucking out the stable and feeding the horses, pigs and chickens. But I'm not only good at stable work, I can also help with household chores and garden maintenance. I can cook or do the washing up according to recipes, weed or water plants. I'm also happy to look after your children. In 2019, I helped look after the children during the riding holidays on a farm. I am also happy to help you with other things such as painting and varnishing, because I like to learn new things and give 100% effort in everything I do.

Ich reite seit ich 5 Jahre alt bin und habe Erfahrung mit Stallarbeit, Turnieren, Springen, Dressur, Ausreiten, Wanderreiten und jungen Pferden. Gerade helfe ich bei einem Mann sein 4-jähriges Pferd auszubilden und miste den Stall, füttere die Pferde, Schweine und Hühner. Aber nicht nur Stallarbeit kann ich, auch im Haushalt oder bei der Gartenpflege kann ich helfen. Ich kann nach Rezept kochen oder abwaschen oder auch Unkraut jäten oder Pflanzen gießen. Ich passe auch gerne auf ihre Kinder auf. 2019 habe ich bei den Reiterferien auf einem Hof bei der Betreuung der Kinder geholfen. Ich helfen ihnen gerne auch bei anderen Dingen wie Malern und Lackieren, denn ich lerne gerne Neues und gebe mir bei allem was ich tue zu 100% Mühe.
