We are both Civil Engineers from New Zealand who recently got married at the start of this year and decided it was overdue time for us to go out and travel the world.
Greg grew up at the bottom of the country on a sheep farm before moving up to the city to get his degree and started working as a Civil Construction Engineer / Project Manager.
Jenny grew up in the city and loves to draw in her spare time. She has worked in various hospitality and teaching roles throughout University before also becoming a Structural Civil Engineer and most recently was involved in the largest Construction Project ever done in New Zealand.
We own our house in New Zealand and have been spending most of our free-time renovating and upgrading the property, while we aren't qualified builders we are certainly getting very good at home DIY projects (do it yourself).
While travelling and exploring we are also looking for opportunities to gain more skills towards our goal of learning as much as we can towards self-sustainability for when we return to our home in New Zealand.
We are excited to meet some great new people from different cultures/backgrounds around the world to learn and share old and new experiences together.

We are both very hard working and reliable, honest and proactive. We have been involved with managing large scale construction projects around New Zealand, using our skills in problem solving we are quick at learning and adapting to new environments.
We take a lot of pride in our work and are always interested in new experiences to find new and interesting things to learn.
We have both worked in various jobs during high school and as we made our way through University together before becoming Civil Engineers. I have more experience in outdoors activities such as farming, while my wife has more experience in hospitality.
We have multiple pets at home and gained a lot of experience around different animals in many different situations.
We have recently completely renovated our bathrooms and installed/upgraded multiple storage spaces around the house. We do plenty of work outside and around the garden always finding new projects to work on - including building a new mailbox, BBQ table and garden boxes.
During our renovations period we took a break and spent some time to design and build a new multi-level dog house for our two small dogs, fully constructed from recycled and salvaged construction materials.

We play boardgames with a group of friends during weekends. Greg enjoys a lot of sport while Jenny likes to draw. We have recently starting to go bouldering when we can and spend a lot of our remaining free time doing renovations in and around our house.
