Hello hosts,
We are Jade and Stevie, an adventurous, easy going couple from the UK. We absolutely love being outdoors, looking for wildlife (particular soft spot for bird watching!), climbing mountains and hiking trails.

Recently, we backpacked through, Slovakia, Slovenian Alps, Austria and island hopping in Croatia. This only fuelled and solidified our desire of our travels going beyond Europe and seeing as much of the world as we possibly can!!

We are both extremely keen to have cultural exchanges as well as learning new skills and languages. We are hard working people who aren't afraid to get our hands dirty and stuck into anything (but learning new skills is a mega bonus). We are both certified Open Water Scuba divers and would love to progress with this.

Our favourite memory- Over Christmas and New Year 2024, we travelled with a camper through South West Iceland. On new years eve, we came across a traditional Icelandic town, parked up, walked a mile and a half through knee length snow and hostile terrain, aiming towards a lighthouse in the distance which was placed on a black sand beach. We arrived just as the sun was rising over the beautiful, deserted beach. As we took the beautiful sun rise in, in the distance, we noticed 4-5 humpback whales, spout water from their blow holes. This was an unreal experience given the surroundings. Even though it was -10 celcius, this warmed our souls. (We also got our campervan stuck a couple of times in deep snow, but that story is for another time…)

Hi, I’m Stevie! I’m a keen naturalist and wildlife lover. I have a tangible thirst to learn about other people’s real life experiences in their own cultures. I’ve worked as a post man in the last 7 years, and worked hard to start living my dream to travel the world. I don’t take life too seriously and I absolutely love to laugh. One of my favourite experiences has been travelling to the Shetland Isles in search of the illusive Orca, I was unsuccessful but this has only encouraged my urge to complete my long life dream of seeing a wild Orca pod.

Hi, I’m Jade! I’m a dedicated lover of the outdoors, especially being on any kind of water. I’m extremely keen to develop my scuba diving skills and learn new languages. I absolutely love to cook different cuisines as well as baking, maybe I can make you a sweet treat! I’ve always had a great interest in international relations and how the world is developing. One of my best experiences has been learning and spending time with a Ngorongoro Masaai tribe in Tanzania and travelling through the Serengeti.

We both come from different small towns in the UK, and had separate desires to travel . Fortunately we have been brought together, and we can experience our journey together.

We are highly interested in learning languages, particularly Spanish (European and Latin American). I have a good grasp of reading it, however would like to be more competent in speaking it. We really want to engage in any language.
