Hello!! We are a couple of travelers. From Argentina and Serbia.

Since we met, few years ago, we decided to hitchhike around Europe. And our trip got extended to the rest of the world.
In the last four years, we have lived traveling.
During this trip, we had the opportunity to really get to know local people from different and diverse countries we visited.
Workaway became more than one experience, we could say that it is part of this trip and of our travel life.
Volunteering around different places teaches us something different everyday. It shows how everybody can, by helping a little bit, contribute to making the world and people's life a bit better.
We were able to help with many different tasks, to share experiences and learn many things.
We cooked local dishes, tried to get to know at least some basic words in other languages and developed different skills, social, communicative, to share, learn and teach.

We live a simple life, traveling around and enjoying every time and taking the different opportunities along the way. Trying to feel at home everywhere we go.
In this days we are moving a bit less than before. Trying to pause a bit more and slowdown our steps.

About our trip: In the last years, we traveled together around more than 30 countries.

2018
Until now we hitchhiked from Croatia to Spain. Spain to Norway, and back, to Serbia, and Turkey.
From Turkey we continued across Bulgaria and Serbia, again.
During the winter season, we did Workaway volunteering in Czech Republic.
In the middle of the winter we started to move again, through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia,
Crossing Russia towards south with average temperatures of -20! :)
We worked in different hostels in Georgia before continuing our way.
We hitchhiked back to Moscow from Tblisi and from there, all the way to Spain where we stopped for other Workaway in Catalunya.
We decided to cross one more time Europe to plan our next big step, from Serbia we will go to Asia.

2019-2021
Our trip started in Finland and continued one more time across Russia. We traveled in Transiberian Railway and crossed 10,000km. After a long trip, we got stucked in the other side of the world trying to go somewhere. Suddenly Japan was our next destination.
After winter season in Japan, we made a big trip to Argentina, and hitchhiked more than 15000 km around the whole country. We came back to Europe and did 2 big trips, taking more time to explore some areas like Alsace and Tirol.
Last winter, we got a great opportunity to work in a Ski resort, one more time- Low Tatras in Slovakia.


Since then, this trip kind of stopped. All the pandemic situation made our way of travel and life quite difficult. In the last year, we did just short trips around Serbia expecting for this situation to get better around the world.

Ivan:
Backpacker, travel lover.
I Abandoned my " comfort zone" and amenities, I leave all and I left. During 9 months walk around South America hitchhiking. Almost 6 years later, I continue on my way.
I try to accumulate experiences, meet people and collaborate with a small contribution in various projects I found along the road, with open mind and knocking down myths and prejudices
That allowed me learn about others and about myself.

Sanja:
I can say I'm in love with the world around me. While working at a reception in a hostel I had the opportunity to meet new people from all over the world and foster friendships with them. Meeting people who have different perspectives, backgrounds, and life experiences can be an amazing experience because it often shapes you into a more open-minded person. I believe that life most beautiful and meaningful moments happen when we step outside of our comfort zone. Travelling makes you fall in love with life. That's why I decided to leave my job and travel for some time which gave me the opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences and great moments with people.
