Hello everyone!
I'm eager to travel and learn from other cultures! I've been staying in Paris as au pair, which has been a great experience for me. Living abroad has given me the thirst for more and now I feel like travelling the world:)
Me in short: Danish girl who likes travelling, cooking, meeting new people, running. Has a love/hate relationship with both nature and the city. Travelling to explore something different than my home and expand my horizon. Have stayed in Paris 7 months, Zambia for 3 months, Cape Town (Muizenberg) for 1 month and Israel in a farmstay for around 1,5 months. Have 7 months experience in a busy startup as operations assistent April-December 2018, which has taught me a lot about cooperation and how to be a good co-worker. You can therefore expect a good coworker, who is used to handling many different tasks.
I have elaborated a little on below😊
I come from Denmark in a town a little North of our capital Copenhagen, where I've lived all my life. It's a beautiful town with forests, many educational institutions and the Castle of Frederiksborg. My house is in the outskirts of the city, and we almost live in a part of the forest.
I've always liked nature. I used to run a lot of orienteering (running in forests with maps) and have gone to Sweden, Slovenia and the Czech Republic with my orieteering club.
My father loves fishing, and I've gone with him several times to fish on the sea of Øresund, but also in the Bay of Oslo in Norway as we have a cottage there. I've spend two weeks there every summer bathing, fishing, plucking blueberries and cantarels in the surrounding forests ever since I was child.
I have travelled a lot previously, but due corona it's been a long time now, and I'm now really longing for my next WorkAway experience.
Workaway experiences:
I can do a bit of everything and will do my best to fullfill my job with you. I hope you will like to have me staying.
I’ve had my first Workaway experience in the beautiful mountains of Norway at a lodge December 2018, which was a really good experience. I stayed for a 1 month at a surfer hostel in Muizenberg, working in their bar and general maintenance.
During my time in Zambia, I was volunteering at School in Zambia with a base in Bauleni just outside of Lusaka. Me and my friend stayed with a host family in a compound which made it an even more interesting experience! Zambia and it’s people is so beautiful and welcoming.
Later I stayed in Israel at two different organic farms helping out in the fields and with general maintenance at the farm.
I like travelling, because I think there is so much we can learn from each other across borders. I think it's healthy for us all to be open-minded to other cultures and ways of life to prevent prejudiges and conflicts.
Besides that, I just hope to meet new cool people and have good experiences:)
Hope to hear from you!
Best regards, IsabellaIntereses

Just want to underline that I would be very grateful to be accepted anywhere and would do my best to live up to your expectations. I prefer people to be open and straight forward towrads me if they want me to do something differently, and hope we can be open with each other (just to make sure everyone is happy)
I've tried to stay with a family for a long time here in Paris, so I have tried what it's like to adapt to a family
I'm a real foodie and love cooking, so trying out new cuisines is a very big part of my travel experience. Sport also plays a big role in my life, and like to stay fit.
I've always loved school because I've always had a lust to learn, both about school subjects and about life. Studied maths, chemistry and physics and French in high school as main subjects.
I went to a Protestantic School for 10 years, before my 3 years in high school.
I'm really interested in nature, especially chemistry. Tried to follow a doctor on a hospital for a week, where I for example witnessed two operations (I'm not afraid of blood ;) )
I like to stay in good shape and exercise about 3 times a week. Love yoga, fitness and running - especially in the nature:)
I'm not "picky" about accomondation and food, think my previous travels have tought me that :)Más información
