I am a single guy from Worcestershire. I have no children and I live with my mother. That is not as sad as it sounds, however!! She lost her husband in August and so I have been staying with her to help her financially and with chores around the house. We get on really well. She is happy for me to visit France, though.

I wish to spend some time in France to help with my learning of the language. I'd love to be able to receive commands in French and truly immerse myself in the language.

I am happy to work indoors or outdoors and in all weathers. I am physically strong so lifting is not a problem. In return for hospitality, I will work very hard.

My hobby is sewing and, like my French, I am hoping to improve my skill-level at that throughout the next year. I'm not especially skilled at DIY but I'm intelligent, keen and conscientious. I'm more than happy to learn new things and use what skills I have to help my host.

I absolutely love animals. Dogs are my favourite but I love cats, farm animals and exotic pets, too. I volunteer at an animal shelter here in England.

I'm happy with gardening, painting, some construction work. If I need some guidance, I'll always ask.

I exercise everyday. I like to lift weights most of all but am always happy to run or use my own body-weight.

Since 2020, I have been learning French. My level is quite good but my absolute dream is to achieve fluency before I reach the age of 45. Time spent in France will really help me with this. I am not a natural language learner. In fact, it was my worst subject at school. However, I am now dedicated to learning and achieving fluency.

Que habilidades tienes?

I am physically fit and strong. Therefore, any lifting work is quite easy for me. I can strim and mow lawns and clean around the house. I'm also happy with any painting work.

I'm especially happy with any work involving animal care.

I'm a fast learner so I'm keen to do any other jobs that I can be taught.
