Hello! my name Floor, or Flora.
I am a nature lover, artist, passionate about food, creativity, and living conciously, authentically and inspired.
For the past few years I have combined illustration work and my own artistic projects with working in coffee places and with food, but living in the city I could never truly find the connected, natural life and community I’m looking for.
I’m now on my journey to find more adventure, nature, community, meeting like-minded people, sharing and experiencing different lifestyles. I want to learn and do things of service, while exploring how I can shape my own life in ways that bring me closer to my desired lifestyle.
It’s a lot, but here are some of the things that most excite me: cooking and experimenting with food, herbalism, foraging, spirituality, photography and film, paganism and history, dancing, tree climbing, bouldering, writing, painting, drawing and sculpting… I like to keep expanding on my passions as well as learning new ones :)
What I find most important on my workaway-experience, is to find connection in nature, building/creating something with like-minded people, and learning from eachother.

Que habilidades tienes?

I love cooking and have built experience with cooking and catering for larger groups of people, I also know a lot about nutrition and herbalism. I’ve worked for years in hospitality waitressing and in the kitchen, and as a professional barista.
I’ve got basic gardening skills (from community garden work) as well as foraging and am learning more about farming/gardening.
I’m a professional illustrator and have experience with different artistic media, and next to painting on paper or canvas (or even digitally) I also like to take on projects like painting murals!
I host my own women’s circles where we meditate and do creative projects together, creating a safe space and inspiring eachother spiritually.
I love to work on any creative/artistic projects either on my own or together with others! I also would like to spend time doing hands-on work in the field of building / carpenting (still learning), and any other work that needs to be done.

I already shared quite a lot in my description, but maybe I can share a bit about my personality. I would describe myself as a concious, positive, caring and sensitive person but can also be a bit clumsy or forgetful at times;) I need my time alone in nature to ‘recharge’ but outside of that I love connecting with people, partying/dancing, having good conversations and laughing, playing, adventuring :) Oh and I really can get way too excited about food…
I am also working a lot on self-improvement and spirituality and like to work with plant medicines, practice meditation and write. I like sharing knowledge, inspiring eachother and making ideas together.
