Hi everyone,
my name is Ester and I come from Southern Italy, precisely from Apulia, 'the heel of the boot'.
I love my region: it is a wonderful place with a wonderful sea, delicious and healthy food and stunning regional parks. I'm very proud of my roots but I feel like my branches can go high and strong by visinting other places, connecting with different cultures, descovering new languages and different way to inhabit this messy world.
I gratudated less than one year ago in a MA in Languages and Literatures (English and Portuguese) and It was the best path that I could have chosen! During my years of study I fell in love with Portugal, I did two Erasmus experience there, one in Lisbon and another one in Coimbra, and I could not even describe the joy and the growth that those experiences gave to me.
I can define myself as an enviromentalist, I really care about the world we live in and I try everyday my best to make the little differences that each of us can do with a little bit of effort. Speaking of that, I became vegetarian two years ago but once in a while I try to cook also some vegan recipes.
One of my goals in life is to grow my own garden and try to get as much as I can from my produce and it is something I have been trying to learn to do over the past year.
I'm about to start a new job at the end of October and until then I would like to enjoy my last days of complete freedom by connecting myself with new realities and meeting new people and cultures!

I held some courses of a basic level of Italian for Portuguese young students and another Italian course on coversation with C1-level Mexican students. So I will be glad to teach some Italian during my workaway experince but, as a Languages graduated I will be happy to teach some English as well .As a languages lover I'm really interested in learing new languages but also in improving those I already know. I have basic knowledge of Spanish and I would love to improve it.

I can define myself as a good cook; I really like to cook meals for others more than for myself. In my cooking, I love experimenting with recipes from all over the world and I always try something new. Moreover, every time I'm hosted by someone, I always help them around the house!
Thanks to many years of theatre, I increased my motivation and commitment but also willingness to work cooperatively and new ways of expressing my feelings.
I grew up in a region where agricutlure is everything and since I was little, I have always helped picking fruit or taking care of small plants.
I have never built something myself, but when something is broken, I always try my best to fix it. I always try to reuse and recycle everything.
My skills may not be the best, but i really want to improve them new challenges are always welcome. I'm a fast learner, especially when it has to do with manual jobs.

Didn't had a lot of experience in workaway, she adapts herself easily to all tasks. Outside with planting, irrigation, inside with cooking and housekeeping … she likes to participate to everything.
