Descripción

Greetings, we are Eize and Marina. Marina is an interior designer from sunny Mexico.
Eize is a professional jobhopperfrom a small town in the polder of Holland.

We have both done several workaways in the past and is in our perspective the very best way to see and experience a country. It brings us unique people, and places, and fulfillment helping different people and their projects while leaving a little trace everywhere. For us working together with locals and people from all over the world is the best way to learn about their lives and cultures, and having a lot of fun of course :).

Our way of traveling is slow paced with our tent on our backs. This gives us time to enjoy the place and get a feel for the way of life. We love to hike, are interested in architecture/design, explore nature and seek dramatic landscapes.

Eize is especially interested in DIY projects, carpentry and woodworks. And with time gained some experience with this. Hand and skill crafts, trail building and animal care are things I would love to learn. Any new skill I'd be happy to pick up. Also chopping wood is something I really enjoy.
Marina is interested in learning about sustainable materials that cause less environmental harm when building spaces with local resources. As well as learning how to cook dishes from other countries. Trail building and animal care would also be great to learn more about.

Que habilidades tienes?

We both have a lot of experience in hospitality and gastronomy. This is something we enjoy and maybe can teach a thing or two about.

Jobhopper Eize has worked in many factories, bars/Restaurants, is a snowboard and sailing instructor, and has worked in healthcare for disabled people both as a cleaner and caretaker. Has experience with most (power)tools, painting, and wood maintenance (mainly ships).
Every summer since my 16th I have volunteered in a kids summer camp where we create holidays for about 1400 kids, all from different financial and racial backgrounds. This is something I've truly enjoyed and am very passionate about.

Marina has several years of experience and a professional degree in interior design. In recent years, she has focused on hospitality, working as a hostess in a fine-dining restaurant, in housekeeping at hotels, and managing a popular hostel for about a year.

We are not to get our hands dirty and prefer working outside. A big part of the volunteering for us is learning new skills and other ways to create. We enjoy any new challenges :). Hopefully we meet soon!
