Descripción
I am a 20 year old traveller from the UK who loves being in and working with nature and living a sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle. I love to hike, camp, kayak and trek anywhere I can and anywhere a trail takes me. I am involved in political and social activism back in the UK with my local climate group. On top of voluntary work, I have worked in cafes, bars, and pubs across Australia and back in the UK. I love an early morning and taking life, and travelling, slowly :)

In terms of WWOOFing I bring more enthusiasm than skills and expertise but I have volunteered on commercial organic veg farms, commercial egg farms, hobby farms, au pairing, permaculture farms, and teaching English as a foreign language across asia, so I have worn many hats so to speak. Professionally, I have worked in management positions at numerous bars, restaurants and cafes in both the UK and Australia so I can definitely bring you a morning coffee if nothing else.

My stay with Polly, Andy, and Sylvie was the gift that kept on giving! They are incredibly warm and welcoming people in a beautiful town. The work was always fun and fair and flexible enough to whatever my interests or skills were. I cannot recommend them enough!

We loved having Edward at our house. He is an amazing cook, worked in the garden, and did many odd jobs around the place. He is easy going, a hard worker and great fun to be around.

(Coastal holiday and farm ...)
Staying with Gaby and Hugh was a great experience. Their house is on a beautiful headland and their farm is nestled at the feet of a national park so you couldn't really ask for more. They are great people to chat to and make he whole experience fun :)

I stayed for 2 weeks with Jane and had a blast. She guided me around the area with places to go and things to see, took me out with her friends, and had movie nights together. The house is in a beautiful valley with waterfalls and a dam. The work is always fun and it was satisfying to see what was achieved over the 2 weeks. I cannot recommend her… read more

Ed was great fun to have around, easy going and happy to fit in with the rhythms of the house. He was a great help in the garden and minded the farm for me over the weekend with the dog and the chickens. Lots of interesting discussions!

Ed was a great to have around, relaxed and easy going. Was a great communicator and worked hard. He stepped up and did a few jobs thats werent usually in the job description ie: climbing into the chook shed belt to collect eggs when it wasnt working properly. Zac and Alana are the loveliest couple and I had the best time on their farm. The work was varied with both some helping around the house to collecting eggs, and doing egg drop offs to local cafes. They even dropped me off and waited with me at the hospital when I unexpectedly had to go. cannot recommend any higher :)

We loved hosting Ed! Ed is super easy going, friendly, good sense of humour and open minded. He was enthusiastic and happy to help out on our property. He did a range of different jobs with us from gardening to cleaning and was happy to learn. I'd highly recommend hosting him if you get the chance! Thanks for coming Ed!!!
