Hi all! I'm a student currently doing my first year studying Physics in Singapore Nanyang Technological University. I absolutely love animals and have a dog at home whom I love very much. I enjoy spending time in nature and going on adventures while exploring new places.
Before Covid, I would travel to Italy with my family every year to visit my relatives in Rimini. I would often end up travelling by myself to places nearby Italy that ive never been to and I always look for good nature spots.

I love exploring forest trails, climbing things, extreme sports and looking up ways to DIY whatever items I have around me, from a Tshirt to a leaf! I really love connecting with nature and travelling to new places to make some memorable experiences.

Previously when I first made my workaway account, I mentioned that I was on a mission to put myself outside of my comfort zone in order for me to grow. Im happy to say that i was able to achieve that with the Workaway i did in 2023 and now I am looking for more opportunities to experience new things, meet new people and continue to grow.

While studying engineering, I have picked up some engineering skills like soldering, circuit patching, basic coding and programming. I have also worked on a school project that uses solar energy to make hydroponics farming self-sustainable. At home I tried to use my engineering skills to make an automated self-watering system to take care of my plants while I was away, safe to say that it worked as not all my plants died!
This year I was finally able to establish a nice garden on my room window. I was successful in growing cherry tomatoes, chillis and bell peppers which my family and I consumed.

Although I must say that I got my tomato growing skills from the previous workaway I did in the summer of 2023 in Tuscany. There I lived a farm-life, working with chickens, a goose, and two cows. I gained skills like how to care for tomatoes and I self-taught myself to make a basket out of pine needles from the forest nearby.

I was vegan for a few years but recently started consuming eggs again. I love cooking and I am always inspired to try and experiment with all kinds of foods (except meat maybe haha).

Some time ago I had also taken a one-day course on dog grooming and learned how the various nail trimming and bathing technique, as well as how to properly shave certain areas of fur. I worked part-time in fnb as a waitress for a year and a barista for a month here in Singapore. I also did a student work programme where I worked for a few weeks in a school for mentally challenged kids. Lastly I completed a 4-month long internship in a solar energy company in Singapore in Feb 2023. During my internship I worked with software like SketchUp and a bit of AutoCAD.

I personally have always been interested in Space and I love sharing whatever space facts I know. I have a telescope at home that i use to look at planets and take photos of the moon. And now for my next trip I will get myself a pair of binoculars to bring with me! I enjoy watching science fiction movies/series and my favourite movies are Avatar and Interstellar. This passion of mine is what is pushing me to learn Physics for my degree.

I also picked up spray paint art as a hobby a few years ago. I like playing video games especially dinosaur games. I enjoy learning songs from YouTube to play on the piano as a form of stress relief. I also learnt how to play the violin for a few years some time ago and how to read music.

I used to played Squash competitively and competed in a dragon boat race for my school. I also took skiing lessons when i visited the Alps in Italy with my family. I used do rock climbing and bouldering recreationally before my previous trip in 2023.
