Hi! My name is Clare. I graduated from university this past May, but my job does not start until August 2026. I enjoy travel and seeing new places, so I am looking forward to doing that over this gap period. I am the oldest of nine children, and have grown up on a farm. I have ridden horses (hunt seat) since I was eleven. I love history (particularly England’s Middle Ages, but I’m not picky), cooking, baking (my sourdough starter is named Claude), and crafting (knitting especially, but I’m trying to improve my sewing skills). I am a huge fan of period dramas and anything Austen-esque. In my free time I try to work out (rarely, I admit), and listen to audiobooks and podcasts (largely The Rest is History) while I walk my family’s dog, Oscar.

I have done work on my family farm, as well as on horse farms—feeding, grooming, tacking, cleaning stalls etc. I enjoy being around animals. I have no formal cooking education, but I enjoy it and often cook for my family. I am very eager to learn new skills and to help out it any way I can :)
