Descripción
Hey! I am Chris, born and raised in central Switzerland. I enjoy all thing in nature such as hiking, camping, mountaineering, ski touring, running and rock climbing. Besides sport and nature I enjoy cooking and eating food. My passion for food has also led me on the career path to becoming a cheesemaker, dairy technologist and food scientist. I enjoy reading books, history and maps.
Besides my career in the food industry I also worked on farms, which gave me lots of pleasure. I like taking care of animals, plants, working physically and making daily decisions according to weather and season.
Through workaway I hope to be able to dive into new cultures, languages and ways of living.

Besides working in the food industry for more than 15 years I also worked on a goat farm in Canada for almost a year and on a dairy farm in Switzerland for 8 months.
