Dear hosts,
I am studying Liberal Arts and Sciences in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Before that, I worked as an au pair to learn Spanish, and now would like to experience a different type of work, primarily to meet people, explore new cultures, lend my skills, and of course to grow as a person, and continue to find my place in the world. I am clear headed, empathetic, creative, and good at anticipating needs and fitting in with the community. I hope to gain new experiences, and my wish is to help create a better world.

I thrive in nature, and value deep connections with people. Positive energy and companionship fuels and motivates me, and I also enjoy time to myself to recharge. I have a very good work ethic, and will calmly work on a project until it has been completed well. I am pretty flexible, and am easy to work with, so can adapt well to new environments.

I would love to become completely fluent in Spanish, I am very determined. I worked and travelled in Spain for around 6 months, and I have also been taking a course in Spanish at my university, so I am at an intermediate level, improving every week. I also lived in Belgium for two years as a child, and because I study in the Netherlands I have conversational Dutch too.

Since graduating school, I have studied art foundation in London at Central Saint Martins, worked as an au pair in Spain and Tenerife. I have had work experience teaching English to 5th Graders, being a Runner for a theatre company, working as a waiter for a Wedding Catering company, produce-picker for a local farm shop, and more. I have taken on portrait commissions to fund my studies, acted as team leader on school sports days, co-directed school plays, and delivered a speech to 200 people in the school community. I am chair of the Arts Committee at my university, which has taught me a lot of group management skills, lots of organisational skills (we also collaborate with other committees to hold events such as sip and paint in the campus bar with the music committee and the bar committee), and I have taught classes in the art room. I am creative, patient, reliable, and can learn new tasks quickly. I am also very personable and confident, so can connect well with people.

I am very open-minded and interested in the world, so find many things interesting. My main passions are any creative activities like painting, sculpture, etc, but I also love choir singing, walking in nature, wild swimming in winter and summer, learning to play instruments, baking, movies and theatre, cooking on the beach, exploring new places, travel, having in-depth discussions, and I also have a passion for history.
