I'm Calum from Edinburgh in Scotland, I rarely complain (unless you're already friends with me!). I was a student of Pharmacology and graduated with a masters of distinction in 2021. (the science of drugs), and have signed up to workaway for a chance to meet new people, have new experiences and help people at the same time.

I like to think I bring a positive and enthusiastic air wherever I go, and I am always willing to try something new. I also have a distinct passion for music, I said to one of my friends the other day "I think music brings across the purest form of joy".

I have a fairly extreme passion for nature and the environment in general, I am frankly disgusted at the way we as a planet are treating this world.

Seperately I am fluent in Spanish verbally, semi-literally.

Que habilidades tienes?

I play Guitar, I can cook aslong as its not too fiddly. I can paint walls like no other man can. I've done a short course on kayaking and canoeing through the Scouts organisation, so I can kayak and canoe to a reasonable level. I'm good with animals, and have spent time on farms throughout my childhood (albeit not working, just playing around with the animals).

Through playing rugby throughout my school career, and through various jobs; I have learnt how to work in a team, and also have light experience supervising people.

I have quite a lot of experience caring for children, as I volunteered in an after school club (ages 4 - 11) during high school, and I also have many younger cousins and a niece who always seem to be hanging around my home.

I read, I play board games. Don't really drink anymore. Play video games, studying data science remotely. Love exploring the outdoors, hiking etc.

Strongly interested in history, ancient primarily. But also the early modern period up until 1960.
