Hi there, pleasure to meet you!

My name is Ben, I'm 28, from the UK and have been travelling around SE Asia since September. I am coming to Australia to work and explore the country. Prior to travel I worked in low carbon energy - the environment is important to me!

I'm looking forward to meeting new people, exploring different places, learning about different cultures and have fun while doing it. I'm responsible, fairly easy going, open to trying new things and experiences, and love helping people. Big fan of the outdoors & hiking, cooking, meditation, running, problem solving and learning new things.

Fun previous experiences include working at an american summer camp looking after kids, helping to build a water system in a remote Nepalese village and being a freshers week helper while at University. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and help in any way I can, while having an exciting adventure!

Working with people - I worked with clients on a day today basis as a consultant, and volunteered at my students union in university to help make sure new students had a great time during Freshers week.
Cooking - I am a big home cook and love cooking for people.
Clean and Tidy - I am a clean person and can clean well.
Working with kids - I worked as a camp councillor in the U.S. for 2 summers, looking after kids between the ages of 7-16.
Outdoors - I love being outdoors and am open to trying new things and getting my hands dirty! I've also spent a lot of time camping, building fires etc.
Microsoft Office - I am very proficient with microsoft office applications, especially Excel.
Problem solving - as an engineer I love to problem solve, no matter how big or small the problem!
