I've worked in farms, administration, schools, horse racing stables and in video/documentaries making for the Belgian TV and NGOs.
I've also helped in orphanages/schools in Morocco, Bolivia, Jordan, South Africa and Uganda.
Some experience & interest in permaculture, self-sustainability, animal care, pool maintenance and equicoaching. Many house / farm / stables sitting.

Rather introvert and independent but enjoy meeting interesting people. I like a simple life.
Good sense of organisation and can take initiatives.
I am a morning person, like physical work and am very good at decluttering. + see skills

Maylis is a lovely person, easy going and respectful. She stayed 11 days during which she has done an amazing job removing wall papers, woods, and bricks with the jack hammer. Dejado por el workawayer () para el anfitrión (Help me with daily projects ...)

I stayed 11 days. I mainly removed wallpaper with a steamer, wooden boards with crowbars and bricks with a jackhammer.
Benoit was an excellent host, as I could choose when I wanted to work, rest and eat. He made sure that the fridge was full of food that me and the other workeraway liked. He and his girlfriend were really friendly and easy going.

I've spent 5 days in April and had a good time cleaning, cooking, moving boxes and putting furniture together. The hours of work were flexible.
Jan is easy going and as a reporter, he has many interesting stories to tell.
The food was really good. The area is pleasant : quiet and green with some shops close by.

It was so great to have Maylis over, during the renovation of my house. She helped me a lot with cleaning, cooking, putting furniture together,... She was a pleasure to have around and share stories with.

I stayed there 2 weeks from end of July. The 1st impression of the area was a bit shocking as it is quite poor but working in a school favours a quick integration. Je suis restée 6 jours en juillet.
C'est une belle maison avec une chouette vue sur Dinant qui est à 5 minutes à pieds. Tout proche aussi de belles ballades.
J'ai arraché des orties, planté des fleurs, étalé des copeaux de bois, nourri les moutons et le chat, pendu du linge à sécher, porté des encombrants.

At the airport Livingstone, you can have a visa to Zambia alone or for Zambia and Zimbabwe for the same price 50$. If you say you are going to help in a school, they give you a business visa which allows to go to Zambia only - one entry.

I have stayed there one week in October. The place & surroundings (hills, rocks, forests, pastures, monkeys,... ) are beautiful, the house, accommodation and food, great. The ambiance in the shoe leather factory is super. The jobs there for volunteers is mainly packaging and inventory.
