Hello there 🤗

My name is Amélie, I’m a 23 years old girl from Germany. I’ve been traveling around Australia for the past 7 months.

I’m a very open, friendly and easy-going person who enjoys meeting new people and discovering different ways of living.
More than anything, I love children and animals. Caring for them and spending time with them truly makes me happy !🐶👧🏽👶🏼

I’m a creative person and enjoy activities like painting, crafting, DIY projects, gardening, baking and cooking and I’m always excited to try and learn new things. I’m happy to help wherever needed and like to stay active and involved.

Even though I might look like a bit of a girly girl, I’m definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty and work hard 👸🏼💪🏼

My friends would describe me as positive, reliable, adventurous and easy-going. For me, Workaway is a beautiful way to combine traveling, learning new skills and sharing my love for children and animals.

I have a very diverse background and enjoy learning new things. I have worked on a cruise ship and in several hotels as a beautician and receptionist. In my last hotel job, I also helped with gardening whenever it was quieter in the spa area.

I have experience working in a guesthouse/farm, where I learned how important flexibility and teamwork are.
I aswell have served at big events like weddings and big birthdays.

At home I am very hands-on: I renovated my own room (plastering and painting), built my own furniture and love taking care of the garden.
I love creative things like DIY‘S and crafting.

I am very comfortable around animals and children, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Cooking is also something I like to do and I am always happy to help in the kitchen.
