Hi everyone! I’m Alp, an upbeat and adventurous person, splitting my time between Edmonton and Istanbul. Over the past five years, I’ve embraced a lifestyle that has allowed me to spend a significant amount of time traveling and exploring different parts of the world.

What I’ve come to realize in recent years is that meeting new people, sharing experiences, and engaging in meaningful conversations bring a sense of happiness and peace to my life. This has led me to see volunteering as a wonderful way to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and places, embracing both the good and the challenges that come with it.

I would describe myself as flexible, easygoing, positive, and responsible. I genuinely enjoy building new friendships and immersing myself in the culture of the places I visit. While I’m not demanding in any way, I do hope to be welcomed into a warm and friendly environment. Looking forward to connecting!

- I’ve gained volunteering experience at five different hostels and an orphanage, where I’ve developed skills in guest engagement, cleaning, and housekeeping.
- As a pet owner, I’m great with animals.
- I’m an energetic and positive person who’s not afraid to step out of my comfort zone. I’m open to all kinds of tasks and approach every opportunity with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
