Hey everyone!
I‘m Aileen from Germany and will be travelling New Zealand from January 2026 on. I’ve been to New Zealand once as a teenager and have been longing to come back ever since. I’m looking forward to exploring the country more in depth, travelling slowly and meeting new people along the way.
I’m hands on and open minded. Interested in photography, books and being active.

I have a bachelor’s degree in social psychology and communication and work background in brand marketing and B2B marketing.
I have had a very creative and outdoorsy upbringing, being part of a girl guide and scouts group for over 10 years and doing farm and forestry internships in school.

I've had a wonderful time staying with Julia and Chris. I stayed with them for 2 weeks and did various tasks in that time, like painting, weeding and some building work.

Aileen was so thoughtful and kind and picked things up really quickly. She used her initiative and asked if she wasn't sure. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She helped us with building work, painting, weeding and cleaning. She was always willing and happy and she is also a very good cook.
