  We will be conducting a big refurbishment of the pool and patio area in February and we're looking for some extra muscles to help. Think working with cement, digging, and building a porch with tiles and pillars.
  
  Our place is nestled in the countryside of Cartama just a short 15-25 minute drive from the vibrant Málaga city center and the lively town of Benalmádena.
  
  Plus, the beautiful Los Álamos beach is only about 15 minute drive away. You have access to the bus, we will not be available to pickup or drop off.
  
  You'll be staying in our guest home on the property with it's own bed, private bathroom and shower and cooking space. In the afternoons, you'll have time to relax by the pool (in summer months), explore the nearby mountains, or catch the bus into town.
  
  We will have breakfast together, but please be able to cook for yourself for dinners.
  
  Unfortunately you will not have access to a car, but again there is a local bus route near by and bike route.
  
  For the animal lovers out there, we have a flock of chickens, one playful puppy and another super nervous dog who will likely not come near you. If you are not used to dogs this is not the workaway for you. We are Samantha and Javi. I work from home and Javi works in the city center typically in the afternoons and we need some help maintaining all this land and animals.

  Javi speaks Spanish, Italian and English fluently. Practice with any of these languages is welcome! We have both lived in many places of the world and welcome you to share your culture with us!
  
  I attended a Wilderness School to study permaculture and we can make some fun things from the garden!

  If you're curious about what you might be doing here it's a real mix of hands-on projects! We've got a list of things that would be a huge help, including tackling some general repairs around the property as needed examples, creating new garden beds, helping to fix the chicken coup, planting new vegetables, feeding the dogs, cutting the grass, keeping an eye on the puppy, cleaning the pool, feeding the chickens in the morning, ensuring they have water, pulling weeds, organizing the shed, fixing the fence, painting, helping to build shade spots for summer months. If we're away, you'll be doing these task yourself. If I'm here, we'll be doing the task together.

  Alojamiento

  You'll be staying in your own space in the guest house with your private bathroom. Food will be provided. We will take turns making meals and of course whatever is in the garden is welcome!
  We wanted to let you know that we'll be providing the food. Javi really enjoys cooking, and we thought it could be fun to rotate cooking dinner or lunch together and taking turns with that. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to have fresh eggs for breakfast!

  For getting around, there's a local bus stop conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the house, which makes exploring the close surrounding areas really easy. Also, many travel using the new bike lane to Churriana or Cartama and if you're an avid cyclist the beach isn't far by bike either.
  Regarding guests, just to clarify, we are set up to host the agreed-upon number of people and are not able to accommodate additional visitors. This makes our guest home a perfect retreat for solo travelers or couples looking for a peaceful getaway.
  We also take pride in maintaining a very clean and comfortable living environment, and we kindly ask that common areas be kept tidy and in the same condition as they were found.
  If you plan on driving, you'll have the peace of mind of private parking within our gated property. We've also installed security measures for an extra layer of comfort and safety during your stay.
