Descripción
Hello, we are a small fish farm in the Darwin rural area approximately 35 km from the city centre. Robyn work’s in the public service and David on his fish farm. We have very little time for maintenance and gardening and need a bit of help getting our place.

More or less there are lots of things to do around here. Basically the gardens need a clean up but there are lots of other jobs around the house and Aquaculture ponds. If you like cooking you are more than welcome to take over the stove but not necessary. We have a dog that needs exercise daily, During the months of October to December it is extremely hot up here so early morning starts are best to avoid the heat of the day.

We have a small Demountable for you to sleep in. It is clean and has air conditioning. While this is not big we have a great veranda with a lounge that you can relax and catch up on family and friends with the Internet.

There is limited public transport out here so you will need your own transport, if you wish to travel into the city a lot. There is a shopping centre close by and we have bikes or easy walk of 2km. We are close to the stuart highway so Tourist buses will stop to pick up if you wish to look at Litchfield Park or Kakadu.

Yes we are on 5 acres, you will need to dump your own sewage at a approved dumping ground though.

Well where do I start, these guys are fun, fun, fun. They were great with all the tasks I gave them. They had the dirtiest jobs cleaning out old ponds etc and just loved it. Helped with the fencing to keep the dog in. Cleaned up garden area's and cleaned the big solar. They asked question to confirm instructions to complete any tasks. They were… read more

Max was a delight to host. He is respectful, got lots of skills, funny and will jump at the chance to help. He is always checking on the tasks at hand. Max built a fence around our solar. We had such an awesome time with David and Robyn! We worked 20 hours a week for them, doing all kinds of odd jobs and also getting to help with the fish which was great. Celene and Romald were the perfect guests, they carried out all the tasks set for them. It was so very very hot here and they still worked and cleared the garden and fixed up all the plumbing jobs. Just give them some room for yoga and to play a guitar. Highly recommended.

Had a brilliant stay and wish we could have stayed longer! Having travelled up the West Coast we were after a place to relax once the work was done and it was perfect here.
