Descripción
We are a Belgian-Chinese couple in our early 40s, well travelled, business minded and nature lovers. During Covid, we changed our lives and decided to settle in north Iceland! No kids, a young giant poodle named Lava (of course) and a new house we bought and intend to renovate almost by ourselves. We live 25-30 minutes north of Akureyri, the second biggest city in the country (17000 people), close to many amazing sites. Our new place is a few meters from the fjord with incredible views.

We can learn from each other and learn new things together. I am a pretty good handyman so we'd be doing a bit of everything together.

Ayuda
We bought a big place that needs a lot of help/ maintenance. Renovations are progressing but there are still lots of things to do, mostly painting and possibly hardwood floors. Basically, I'd like to get someone to do projects with me side by side, in this old house only. It makes the day brighter and the tasks done faster! 1 or 2 people would be nice. No pressure, no stress. We do run a small guesthouse in the village next door but you would not be involved in that.

Our home has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Plenty of public space and a large kitchen I just finished renovating.

We live in the north of Iceland, alongside a massive fjord and close to the sea. There are lava fields, waterfalls, mountains, fjords, whales just outside our house, etc... You must have your own car.
