    Good day fellow workawayers! James here writing you from 'Banemalo'; a 46ft (15m) wooden catamaran. My first crew when I started this project in Costa Rica 3.5yrs ago was one of the best I've had, so here I am again! We're currently in Cascais, Lisbon, Portugal getting ready for our next voyage (Canaries - Cabo verde - West Africa). The plan goes like this;

    Late July - Boat out of the water for bottom repairs & paint (10 days work)
    August - Sail to South Portugal for work above the waterline (paint paint paint!)
    August to November - Sailing around Portugal harvesting fruit, fishing, surfing, making preserves for the voyage south.

    Should be a very fun time with a good mix of adventure, work, and fun. Hope to meet you soon.

    Alojamiento

    15 meter Polynesian style catamaran. The entire deck is flat and provides a huge amount of free space to move around, cook, work, do yoga, etc. 4 private(ish) cabins and loads of space to hang hammocks and sleep on deck. Toilet is direct to the sea and the shower is outside, so come ready for camping-style living.
