Help with some outdoor projects on our bush property in North West Tasmania, Australia

  Hello we are a family of four living on a 16 acre bush property at the foothills of beautiful Mt Roland in North West Tasmania.Tim and Alison are both nurses, Harry is an IT guy and Laura is homeschooled. We love being surrounded by the native wildlife and forests and work hard to preserve this amazing ecosystem.
  We are trying to grow our own food and spend much time in our newly established veggie patch.

  We enjoy bushwalking and exploring our island. We would love to share our favourite places with you . We regularly participate in community activities such as landcare events and would love you to join us. We have a passion for native plants and regularly go on adventures collecting seeds. We would love to work alongside you and learn about your country and way of life.

  Ayuda

  We are working to restore parts of our property following significant storm damage and need help watering baby trees and managing invasive weeds. We would love some help cutting and stacking firewood, maintaining our rainforest walk and working in our veggie patch.

  You will stay in our guest hut that is separate from the main house. This has a bedroom (double bed), small sitting area and bathroom. We would love you to join us for meals. We are not vegetarian but can accommodate this.

  We are located 10 minutes from the nearest town (Sheffield) and 40 minutes from Devonport. Cradle Mountain national park is approximately 45 mins drive away. Public transport is limited and so this can make things a bit tricky but we are happy for you to accompany us on outings and we will do our best to help you get to where you need to go.
