We need a bigger sister/brother who is talkative (German or English), likes child and who can spend time with him to teach him foreign languages (German or English) by talking and playing.

İzmir is the 3 rd biggest city of Turkey. But it is the most modern and turistic one. It is a seaside city and there is too many historical places which are just one bus away.
In Izmir we have so many bars, clubs, restaurants, shoppingcenters and nature activities. You can ride your bike for hours without living the seaside. If you interested in visiting historical places, Izmir is the city you are looking for. Also our daugters like travelling so maybe they can help you to see these places.
İf you want we can help you to learn basic Turkish and Turkish cooking too.

Hello. We are a happy family who lives in İzmir City in Turkey. We have a clever and funny son. His name is Gökay and he is 9 years old. We are looking for a bigger sister or brother who can spend time with him to teach him some foreign languages (expicially German or English) by talking and playing . Alsonhe knows basic English. We live during after 15 th of june to 10 th of september in our summerside house in Çeşme city near İzmir.
We also have 2 other daugthers, they are living seperately. Our oldest daugther lives in Germany as a doctor. Youngest is veterian in İzmir City.
We had a visiters from Germany, England and Australia . We are still in contact with them. They say that they felt themselfs like own home while they were with us. We are sure you will like us and our beautiful and funny city yoo.
Also Cesme iş the most famous seeside City with beachs.
I am a teacher(50) and my husband is retired officer (54) His English is good but I can not guarentie mine:)) He wrote these writings.((

Our home is comfortable. You will have private room with Wi-Fi. Ofcourse you can use other parts of house as you wish . İt makes us pleasure.
We generally cook fresh tradional food at home, but we also enjoy eating outside. I'am a good cooker. I'm sure you will like my cooking. But ofcourse you can use the kitchen to cook for yourself like a member of family.

In your free time you can visit bars, clubs, restaurants, shoppingcenters historical places and nature activities. You can ride bike or swim . You can try to learn Turkish and Turkish cooking . Some times you can go to make ceramic objects with my husband (He is trying to do secamics.)

Wow! Such a lovingly generous and warm hearted family. I was spoilt staying with Ruşen, Nagihan and Gökay. You have a really nice private room with a single bed and a private bathroom, also (loved the shower!!) They were also very flexible with my dates of travelling around Turkey which was a relief. Such a laid back family that wants to share… read more everything with you from their culture to exploring sites together. I came across a few issues which could've potentially made my stay in Turkey difficult but both Nagihan and Ruşen helped me immensely and it reduced a lot of the stress. Nagihan is a great cook so you'll always have great Turkish food, guaranteed.
My time spent with Gökay was simple, he needs time to get to know you so do be patient. He did have some temper tantrums but nothing a little bit of tickling couldn't fix just to calm him down as he gets to know you. I would literally sit with him from 6pm til he would go to bed which was approximately 10.30/11pm. During this time you are also eating dinner and possibly helping to wash up dishes. I would play games and activities with Gökay while speaking English and learning the Turkish translation to ensure he understood. You are not expected to learn Turkish since Nagihan and Ruşen are usually around to help if need be. Gökay has some favourite tv shows that are a must to watch so I would watch it with him and point out animals, colours or objects in English. When Gökay gets to know you, he is soo affectionate and loving. He is very creative and loves drawing and painting. We made some origami, masks and played with puzzles. You have freedom to do whatever activity you think he would like so long as you speak English in order for him to learn some new words. He's very smart and has an opinion on everything, which is adorable. Otherwise, running around and screaming is also fun. He loves singing and dancing as well.
Nagihan and Ruşen live about 30mins by bus from the centre and there are some nice running/walking tracks nearby that take you up the mountains for amazing views of Izmir. The seafront is about a 20min walk and the main street of shops and restaurants (buses) is literally 5mins down the road. Also, the minibus (make sure to confirm with the driver) takes you a door down from their apartment which is very handy when you have heavy luggage like me.
I highly recommend this family. They are respectful of your own time and I was mostly indoors editing but when out at night, they had no issues with me returning at a stupid hour of the night so long as I wasn't drunk which is understandable. Such a relaxed family who are just full of love so if you are going to Izmir, make sure to contact Ruşen!! These guys are literally like family to me. ADORE THEM! Go have fun!!
