Hi, my name is Ravi and I am the owner of a very friendly hostel in the beautiful beach town of Vagator.
I am a backpacker myself and have enjoyed travelling India for the last 10 years, using this experience to set up my own hostel for other backpackers to stay. I have tried to create a chilled environment at the hostel for travellers to feel at home, unwind and relax, whilst being in a social, friendly space.

This hostel aims to create a welcoming atmosphere for backpackers, and living here will give you time to exchange ideas, learn new skills and understand different cultures better. We would love your creativity and commitment to help maintain our hostel, whilst benefiting you by giving you an in-depth knowledge of how a hostel works in India.

Our hostel is a friendly home for many backpackers from around the world. The most important quality for a volunteer is to have a positive energy and commitment to contribute to the wonderful atmosphere at the hostel. We are an established hostel so require a variety of volunteers with specific skills to help us run it and help the guests to have a memorable stay. Please contact us to have a chat about what kind of roles you are most interested in.
1)Reception/Front of house
Help with the day to day running of the hostel; welcoming guests and showing them around, checking them in and out, keeping track of online bookings, and most importantly, just chatting with travellers and helping them feel at home. We have a very relaxed and informal vibe here and you will find that these little jobs aren't very taxing. Ideally we'd like you to stay a minimum of one month and work 4-5 hours a day, so that you can properly settle into the role, get to experience the hostel and feel at home here. During your daily volunteering, there will usually be plenty of time for you to hang out, read, listen to music and entertain yourself in the garden/social lounge area so you won't be stuck at a desk all day! There will be a few volunteers at a time to fill this role so you can alternate hours.
2) Yoga Teacher
We would like to offer Free Yoga classes to our hostel guests every morning / evening. This profile includes teaching Yoga and helping with other things in the hostel.

You will be provided a bed in an air conditioned dorm room with shared bathroom facilities and one meal per day.

We are a short walk to the beautiful Vagator beach and Chapora Fort, and just a 10 minute drive into the heart of Anjuna. There are regular yoga classes, music events and lively markets for you to experience the essence of Goa, while inside the hostel we have created an oasis of calm, with space for you to do yoga, and hammocks and sofas for you to relax in away from the busy streets of India.
There are many local buses and taxis, although the best way to get around is to rent a scooter which you can easily rent from near the hostel.

The owner Ravi is super friendly easy going, he made us feel like we were at home.
The atmosphere of the place is so nice that we didn’t want to leave…
Also the work wasn’t really hard.
We hope we’ll go there again and stay longer !
