We’re a young family of four living in beautiful Victoria, Canada, and we're excited to invite you to join us for a fun and rewarding time pruning fruit trees, building frames for beehives, and landscaping. We're friendly, open, and love learning from others. We offer a welcoming environment, shared meals, and a flexible work schedule, leaving you plenty of time to explore the island. Come help us bring our yard to life—and enjoy all that the West Coast has to offer while you’re here!

  Our home offers a rich cultural exchange experience. You’ll be included in daily life and invited to join us for hikes, beach outings, and friendly gatherings. We live in a community where you’ll experience Canadian life.
  
  We’re happy to share our knowledge of landscaping, basic building, and gardening, and we love working together on hands-on projects. You'll also get to know our fabulous young kids.
  
  By hosting people from different cultures, we hope to expand our worldview and help our children grow up curious and open-minded. We're excited to learn about your traditions, language, and way of life, and to build genuine connections through shared work and meaningful conversations.

  Ayuda

  Your main task is to take care of our apple, plum, fig, and cherry trees. Other gardening help—like weeding and planting—is also appreciated.
  There are also landscaping projects like building a stone walkway and small retaining wall.
  Finally, we are getting ready for beekeeping season. New wooden frames need to be built. It’s simple to do and no previous building experience is required.
  If you enjoy hands-on work, we’d be happy to have you!

  Alojamiento

  We offer comfortable and private accommodation in a cabin located on our property. The cabin has a queen-sized bed, a desk for reading or working, a kitchenette for preparing snacks or light meals, and a full bathroom. While you’ll have your own space to unwind, you’re invited to join our family in the main house for shared meals and conversation.
