  Hello!
  
  We are Enes and Sinem, a family of four living in a peaceful green area of Yalova, Türkiye. We are both science teachers and live with our two children, Bala (8) and Alp (5).
  
  We enjoy cycling, gardening, nature, technology, creative projects and learning new things. Our home has a large garden and is close to the forest, while Yalova city centre is still easy to reach.
  
  After several wonderful experiences hosting Workawayers, our main goal now is to practice and improve our English as a family, though native or fluent German speakers are also very welcome!
  
  We would love to host someone who speaks fluent English (or German) and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. You do not need to be a professional teacher. We believe in natural language learning: playing games, reading stories, listening to songs, cooking together, going for walks or simply chatting during daily family routines.
  
  Sinem and I would also love opportunities for relaxed conversations to build our confidence. We are beginners, so patience, warmth and a sense of humour are definitely appreciated!
  
  In return, we would be happy to share our daily life, Turkish culture, traditional home-cooked meals and our personal hobbies with you. You will have your own private room, reliable internet for remote work or downtime, and plenty of free time to explore the region.
  
  We are looking for someone who wants to become part of family life for a while rather than simply complete a list of tasks.

  We see Workaway mainly as a cultural exchange rather than simply an exchange of help for accommodation.
  
  As a Turkish family, we would be happy to share our daily life, traditions, authentic food and local culture with you. You can experience everyday life in Türkiye, taste home-cooked meals and discover our customs from an insider's perspective.
  
  We are both science teachers, so education, science, technology and creative projects are an important part of our household. If you are interested, we love exchanging ideas on these topics, and you can also learn a bit about the Turkish education system.
  
  We enjoy gardening, cycling, nature, 3D printing and small DIY projects, so there are plenty of shared interests to explore together.
  
  Our primary goal as a family is to practice everyday English (or German). In return, we are more than happy to help you learn and practice Turkish, while helping you discover Yalova and nearby historical destinations.

  Our main expectation is that our guest spends meaningful, natural and enjoyable time with our children, Bala and Alp.
  
  Our priority is English practice, but German is also very welcome. This does not need to be formal lessons. Simply speaking the language while playing board games, reading storybooks, drawing, going for walks in nature, or helping around the kitchen makes a huge difference for them.
  
  We also appreciate some support with the children's school homework when needed. The goal is not doing the homework for them, but encouraging them, keeping them company and explaining things gently when they are stuck.
  
  Both Bala and Alp take piano lessons. If you play the piano or enjoy music, sharing that with them would be a wonderful bonus (not a requirement at all).
  
  We may also ask for light help with everyday family routines—such as setting or clearing the table, preparing meals together, or light garden tidying. We do not expect heavy cleaning, professional childcare or constant domestic work.
  
  Usually, around 4 hours of help per day from Monday to Friday is plenty. Weekends are completely free. We are flexible and can adapt daily routines around the children's school hours and your personal plans.

  You will have your own private room in our family home with a comfortable double sofa bed.
  
  The bathroom and kitchen are shared with our family. We have stable, reliable Wi-Fi, making it completely suitable for remote work or downtime.
  
  Smoking is strictly not allowed inside the house, but you are welcome to smoke outside in our garden.
  
  Our children usually go to bed around 9:00 PM, so we prefer the house to remain quiet and peaceful after that time.
  
  You are welcome to use the shared living areas, kitchen and garden anytime. We want you to feel comfortable and truly at home during your stay.

  During your time off, there are plenty of interesting places to explore nearby.
  
  Yalova is a pleasant coastal town surrounded by nature, featuring scenic hiking routes, waterfalls, forests and famous thermal springs. The thermal bath area is only about 15 minutes away from our home by car.
  
  Istanbul and Bursa are very easy to visit for day trips or weekend getaways. Both cities offer rich history, culture, vibrant bazaars and sightseeing.
  
  Public transportation from our home is very convenient. Minibuses pass right by our street regularly, taking about 20 minutes to reach Yalova city centre and ferry ports.
  
  We are always happy to give local recommendations, assist with travel directions, and share ideas for exploring Yalova and the surrounding region.
