Self-managed Beau Lieu in French Guyana that has been hosting VolonTerres for more than a decade.
Through our agro-ecological and forestry experiments, we tend towards autonomy and welcome all goodwill wishing to participate in the adventure! And there is room within these ten hectares of resistance against various hyperconsumerist threats in the surrounding area!

This Different Agricultural Zone awaits you to calmly continue to create these existing better worlds ! We particularly need help with the maintenance of the apiary of our bees (killers!) and try to take care of them more if you feel it ; improving animal enclosures ; finish the construction of our new carbet (wooden cabin) : planing and laying floor, siding, stairs..) ! Repair tools, DIY ; finish the dryer/solar oven and cerifier (to melt the wax from the beekeeping frames). A good shot of cleaning forest regrowth is important to do in this rainy season ! All mechanical helpers (4L cars, 3 125 motorbikes and/or bicycles) are also welcome!

At the bottom of a developed agricultural area, here we are on 12 Ha trying to combine organic farming, equatorial agroforestry experiments and societal change towards a more sober and earth-oriented life.
Living since the beginning of 2016 on the land, we are still in an installation phase (construction, clearing, plantations, etc.) because the land is initially wooded, without communication networks, 25 km from the first town, but with a road (although we have chosen not to be transported!).
We don't have easier numerical connexion, so exange prioritarily with us by text -ask us for the number !
The easiest way is to reach the agricultural school of Matiti and then it's 8km at the back, in WayaBio!
The overall project concerns 2 ha of open-field fruit trees/food crops permaculture, beehives (Africanized bees) as well as cocoa growing in the undergrowth (1.5 ha).

In addition, the winds are blowing, we are off to discover other horizons of blue waters so we are looking for potential guardians of the farm !

We will welcome you in a hammock in our carbet (wooden cabin without wall) to live according to the elements, in a joyful and quiet sobriety and decrease with often many people who meet there !
Passionate and motivated agro-ecological people requested !

There is no defined period of stay, however we do not want to exceed too much more than 2 months to promote rotations and diversity (as in agriculture!) but if the current passes, we will happily open up our Guyanese world to you. alternatives (agricultural, associative) within one of the most beautiful forests and why not continue your experience with other protagonists!

We have just completed an important stage of public inquiry front of the industrial invasion, our future is still so undecided but we don't let go and we continue our actions !!

On the side, we are starting a participatory farm on Jay's family land in the jamaica hills, a new perspective of alternative travel to come and help us!

Beau Lieu autogéré en Guyane française qui héberge VolonTerres depuis plus d'une décennie.
A travers nos expérimentations agro-écologiques et forestières, nous tendons vers l'autonomie et accueillons toutes les bonnes volontés désireuses de participer à l'aventure ! Et il y a de la place dans ces dix hectares de résistance contre diverses menaces hyperconsuméristes aux alentours !

Cette Zone Agricole Différente vous attend pour continuer sereinement à créer ces mondes meilleurs existants ! Nous avons particulièrement besoin d'aide pour l'entretien du rucher de nos abeilles (tueuses !) et essayons d'en prendre plus soin si vous le sentez ; amélioration des enclos pour animaux ; terminer la construction de notre nouveau carbet (cabane en bois) : rabotage et pose plancher, bardage, escalier.. ! Outils de réparation, bricolage ; finir le séchoir/four solaire et le cerificateur (pour faire fondre la cire des cadres apicoles). Un bon coup d'entretien de la repousse forestière est important à faire en cette saison des pluies ! Tous les aides mécaniques (voitures 4L, 3 125 motos et/ou vélos) sont également les bienvenues !

Au fond d'une zone agricole aménagée, nous voici sur 12 Ha tentant d'allier agriculture biologique, expérimentations d'agroforesterie équatoriale et évolution sociétale vers une vie plus sobre et plus libère terre.
Vivant depuis début 2016 sur le terrain, nous sommes encore dans une phase d'installation (construction, défrichement, plantations, etc.) car le terrain est initialement boisé, sans réseaux de communication, à 25 km de la première ville, mais avec une route ( bien que nous ayons choisi de ne pas être véhiculés !).
Nous n'avons pas facilement de connexion numérique, donc échangez prioritairement par texto -ask us for the number !
Le plus simple est de rejoindre le lycée agricole de Matiti puis c'est 8km au fond, à WayaBio !
Le projet global concerne 2 ha d'abattis kréyol permacole, verger fruitiers/vivriers de plein champ, des ruches (abeilles africanisées) ainsi que la cacaoculture en sous-bois (1,5 ha).

En plus, les vents soufflent, nous aimons partir à la découverte d'autres horizons d'eaux bleues, nous recherchons donc des potentiels gardien.nes de ferme !

Nous vous accueillerons en hamac dans notre carbet (cabane en bois sans mur) pour vivre au gré des éléments, dans une sobriété joyeuse et tranquille et décroissante avec souvent beaucoup de monde qui s'y retrouve !
Personnes agro-écologiques passionnées et motivées recherchées. !

Il n'y a pas de durée de séjour définie, cependant nous ne voulons pas trop dépasser plus de 2 mois pour favoriser les rotations et la diversité (comme en agriculture !) mais si le courant passe, nous vous ouvrirons avec plaisir notre monde guyanais, alternatives (agricoles, associatives) au sein d'une des plus belles forêts et pourquoi pas poursuivre votre expérience avec d'autres protagonistes !

Nous venons de terminer une importante étape d'enquête publique face à l'invasion industrielle, notre avenir est toujours aussi indécis mais on ne lâche rien et on continue nos actions !!

A coté de cela, nous démarrons une ferme participative sur les terres familiales de Jay dans les hauteurs jamaïcaines, une nouvelle perspective de voyage alternatif pour venir nous aider !

Shared time on the farm is structured according to daily & domestic needs (harvest, maintenance, animal care, cooking, etc.) and the improvement of conditions (construction, repair, DIY) as well as the enhancement of the existing (transformation, conservation, optimization) while being open to the creation and emergence of new projects! Multiple areas can therefore be addressed according to different sensitivities!

Le temps partagé à la ferme s'articule selon les besoins quotidiens & domestiques (récolte, entretien, soin animaux, cuisine, etc..) et l'amélioration des conditions (construction, réparation, bricolage) ainsi que la valorisation de l'existant (transformation, conservation, optimisation) tout en étant ouvert à la création et à l'émergence de nouveaux projets ! De multiples domaines peuvent donc être abordés selon les différentes sensibilités !

At the bottom of one of the main agricultural areas of the Péyi, 10km from the Matiti high school, immersion is easy and the links between places are also alternative! Network of Forest Knowledge, Wwoofing, eco-festivities.. Road almost passable, Kourou river 8km away, forest mountain bike trails, transparent and festive creek (river), relatively close to the 2 big towns of the country (approx 50km mini), we we mainly travel by donkey or bicycle! Guyana is magical and marvelous while being raw and lively, confused and intriguing... To discover according to your sensibilities, self-management above all and happiness!

Au fond d'une des principales zones agricoles du péyi, à 10km du lycée de Matiti, l'immersion est facile et les liens entre lieux alternatifs également ! Réseau des Savoirs de la Forêt, Wwoofing, éco-festivités.. Route presque pratiquable, fleuve Kourou à 8km, layons VTT forestiers, crique (rivière) transparente et festive, relativement proche des 2 grandes villes du péyi (env 50km mini), nous nous véhiculons principalement à dos d'âne ou vélo !
La Guyane est magique et merveilleuse tout en étant brute et vive, confuse et intriguante.. A découvrir selon vos sensibilités, autogestion avant tout et heureusité !
