Hi ...I live-a-board a 50ft steel sailing yacht now traveling the east coast & great barrier Reef. The boat has completed its total Refit and is back in the water. Now taking work aways for maintenance and up kept. No couples thanks. Living off the grid and off the sea. . All conveniences. Looking for 1 or 2 single persons to help with cooking, painting , general maintenance& so on in return. snorkelling. , fishing , , BBQ's , . Kayaking, scuba diving if you have a ticket which is desirable. Only fun enthusiastic & motivated people welcome. No experience necessary. Sorry NO vegans or vegetarians.

I stayed with James and Butch the dog for 10 days and it was a whole new experience for me. Right after I got to Bundaberg we pulled the boat out in a slipway and propped it up in boatyard where James will be doing a hell of a lot of work on it. Even though it meant we didn't do any sailing I hope I was at least a bit of help with pulling the boat… read more

Living on a boat is definitive a unique experienced and very interesting. But I did not get along with my host, mainly because we had different attitudes towards life. He stayed friendly and polite all the time. If you are a person who wants to do things on your own and need room and time for yourself, this might not be the right job for you. It's… read more

I stayed with James, Bonnie, and Butch for a little over a week and right from the beginning, I felt welcomed. They showed me around Bundy, took me to the ocean, tried to catch a shark for me, made oysters, went snorkeling, and answered all the questions I had about Oz. What an unique experience, I lived with James, his daughter and the funny dog for a while on his Yacht. Its a beautiful place and I had the best sleep in my life. I spent over 2 weeks with james, his amazing dog and his daughter bonnie on board and i had an incredible time! I was mostly painting the boat and cooked some german dishes.

Hanna came to stay on my yacht for 2 weeks & we totally enjoyed her company. In this time hanna painted the inside of my boat with great passion & love . Excellent job hanna. Elise came to stay with my kids & I on my yacht. Even though it was only a short time our lives are better for it .. thank you Elise.
