  Descripción

  Sunny, rural and coastal place. Close to nature and natural, clean beaches. I have a couple of chickens, fruit trees and a greenhouse. There are several bike paths here. 3min from shops. 15min from town - and 30min away from city/airport. Solar system, so electricity is free. Rural/coastal, but still comfortable with air condition.
  
  About me: I've worked as a digital nomad (software engineer) for many, many years - the nomad part is on a pause last few years tho. I have a 6 yo daughter who is here part time; friends welcome! :) I'm apolitical and will eat anything as long as it is healthy (I try to avoid plant oils tho). I enjoy lively and/or deep conversation with 1-2 glasses on the porch with music, but not into binge drinking or clubbing. I keep moving and stay active; physical exercise, swimming at the beach and e-biking is fun.
  
  The house and garden are in-progress and under refurbishment (e.g. 1st floor is not complete) still; quick status:
  
  - Enough solar energy to provide for all needs 99% of the year. Hybrid setup, so the 1% missing (during December!) is covered by the grid: ✅ PS: If you have a van or house-on-wheels, I got space and free electricity! :)
  - Aircondition and heat pump boiler: ✅ ..with cozy fireplace as backup!
  - Fiber optic Internet (1000/1000Mbit), WiFi 6 and 5G backup: ✅ ....do I need Starlink also?
  - Water filtration (5+ micron, active charcoal, UV++); drink, wash and cook straight from the tap: ✅
  - All modern amenities: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, induction cooktop and oven++ ✅
  - Externally insulated with 10cm Rockwool: ✅ ..keeps the house warm during winter - and cool during summer.
  - New roofing: ✅
  - Greenhouse: ✅ ...got 20 tomato seedlings in a small one - bigger greenhouse still needs to be setup!
  - Independent water supply: almost; still need tanks for storage!
  - Ground floor needs refurbishment; I want to install new furniture and a 2nd aircon on that floor. If anyone wants to stay long term, this could function as a home for a small family even because it has a dedicated entrance.
  - Need a bigger chicken run!

  I know the area quite well. Depending on your interests, we can visit local restaurants in places that are less touristy. I like riding my emtb; if you have similar interests I can show you some trails. Obviously a big part of the local culture here is chilling out at the beaches.

  Ayuda

  Perhaps help with caring for chickens, which involves feeding and general care. Assistance with small gardening tasks, such as watering plants and basic gardening in the greenhouse. Nothing requiring professional skills or heavy physical labor.
  
  I believe cultural exchange is central to the Workaway experience. If you can help around 1-2 hours per day, that leaves plenty of time for relaxing, exploring the local beaches, bike paths, and experiencing the local culture together.

  Alojamiento

  There are two bedrooms and a living room with a sleeper sofa available. This floor of the house is air conditioned, modern and comfortable. There is a fireplace during winter. The kitchen is modern and has a big fridge-freezer. The bathroom is small but practical. Connected to the floor there is a 9x2m veranda where people can sit outside and enjoy the view. There is high-speed Internet, electricity and you can drink the water straight from the tap - as it is filtered and safe via a whole-house setup in the basement. The basement has a new washing machine and tumble dryer.
  
  The upstairs floor is usable - but still needs some finishing touches. It too has its own, big veranda.
  
  There also is an apartment downstairs with a separate entrance, but unfortunately this is only used for storage space for now. Maybe in the future it could be nice for longer term accommodation..

  There's a bus stop 100m from the house. There is free parking. You can walk to the beach, take the bus (every 1 to 1.5 hours), car (3 min) or taxi (3.5 EUR to nearest beach).
  
  I can't think of any house rules beyond what's obvious. If you smoke, do so on the veranda.

  1000mbit/1000mbit fiber optic internet via WiFi 6 is here and very stable. There is 5G (unlimited data) as a backup.

  It would be possible to park your camper/motorhome here. I'd be happy to run an extension cord up to your camper/motorhome - yay; free energy from solar! :)

  Pets are fine? I guess if you have a big dog, it will be happy outside on the 1 acre property here. There is shelter from rain - and my dog can keep it company
