Descripción
Hi ! We are a family of 4 (with 2 kids of 6 and 2 years old) living in the forest beside the river but close to the village (Goyave in Guadeloupe). We are trying to live in harmony with the nature as much as we can. Our project is ecologic and cultural (musical). After storm Fiona and intense rain we recently had big damage and lost a part of the house/landslide.

We speak english, spanish, french and creol, we love to travel and if world can sometimes come to us it is even better ! You can learn about gardening/tropical plants, small concert organisation, local creol culture, french language... And we will love to learn from you.

Ayuda
Our project has different parts :
- gardening (1 hectare of tropical garden) including a small vegetable garden
- one's per month we organize a jam session concert (reggaa/jazz/gwoka), and need help with organisation usually the day before, if you are musician you can of course participate, ask us for dates;) Because of recent damage (landslide) concerts are canceled for the moment.
- wood construction/ solar energy/ house maintening/rebuilding
- eco responsabilty way of living, we would exchange with pleasure about this subject and you can help us to improve us.

You will have accomodation but no meals.

River just beside the house where you can swim and climb, waterfalls 30 minutes walking, treks. Shops are 10 minutes driving, nice beach 25 minutes, 45 minutes from Basse-Terre and 20 from the airport.
Our home is a nice place to rest, meditate, chill out.
If you don't rent a car, bus stop is about 30 minutes walking as well as shops, we can give you rides sometimes.

What a beautiful place one with nature. I preferred to take a bath in the river and sleeping in a hammock there. Such a peacful environment. Michael is such a friendly welcoming being. The work did not feel like work for me. He really wants you to be part if the place connected to the nature and family.
