Hello, my name is Martine (50), I'm French, and I'm renovating a mountain house in the Lanzo Torinese valley, along with my dog, Oliver. In this peaceful haven with a view over the entire valley, I offer accommodation and meals for a weekend to a week in exchange for volunteering to help me with various indoor and outdoor tasks, from gardening to light painting and many other projects.
I speak French and English, and I'm learning Italian. A passionate mountaineer, I'd also be happy to tell you about the many walks and hikes possible in this beautiful region.

Bonjour je m'appelle Martine (50), je suis française, et je rénove une maison de montagne dans la vallée de Lanzo Torinese, accompagnée de mon chien, Oliver. Au sein de ce petit havre de paix avec une vue sur toute la vallée, je vous offre le logement et la nourriture pour une durée d'un week-end à une semaine en échange de volontariat pour m'aider dans les différents travaux intérieurs et extérieurs, du jardinage à la peinture et encore plein d'autres projets.
Je parle français, anglais, et j'apprends l'italien. Passionnée de montagne, je serai ravie de vous renseigner également sur les nombreuses ballades et randonnées possibles dans cette belle région.

I've traveled quite a bit in my life, so I'm used to the encounters and surprises that life throws your way, and I love it. I'm a curious and sociable person. I enjoy talking about anything and everything, and I'm a big fan of travel and mountain sports. I'm gradually restoring this mountain house. The Lanzo Valley is a wild region with little tourism, and it truly deserves to be known for the beauty of its many hiking trails and for the warm hearts and hospitality of its inhabitants. You'll be welcomed like family in this house where you can have breakfast in the morning with the rising sun and chat late into the evening at sunset, putting the world to rights on the terrace. I'm a nature lover, a tree enthusiast, a mountaineer, and someone who respects the environment, and I try, in my own small way, to live as close to nature as possible. I hope to be able to plant a vegetable garden next spring. I also do clay and stone sculpture and would be delighted to discuss all these topics with those who want to venture into the Lanzo Valley.
J'ai pas mal voyagé dans ma vie alors j'ai l'habitude des rencontres et des surprises que la vie met sur votre route, et j'adore cela. Je suis quelqu'un de curieux et de sociable. J'aime parler de tout et de rien, je suis fan de voyages et de sports de montagne. Je restaure petit à petit cette maison de montagne. La vallée de Lanzo est une région sauvage dans laquelle il y a peu de tourisme et qui mérite vraiment d'être connue pour la beauté de ses nombreux chemins de randonnée et pour le grand coeur et l'hospitalité de ses habitants . Vous serez recu comme chez vous dans cette maison où vous pourrez prendre le petit déjeuner le matin au soleil levant, et discuter tardivement au coucher du soleil pour refaire le monde sur la terrasse. Je suis fan de nature , d'arbres, de montage et de respect de l'environnement et j'essaie à ma petite échelle de vivre au plus près de la nature. J'espère pouvoir faire un potager au printemps prochain. Je fais aussi de la sculpture sur terre et pierre et serai ravie d'échanger sur tout ces sujets avec ceux qui veulent s'aventurer en vallée de lanzo. -

I have a pizza oven, and i'm happy to provide local food. i'm not vegetarian but we can also cook vegetarian if needed.There's a marked two times a week in Lanzo Torinese with local products. It's 15 minutes driving from the house. -

The Lanzo Torinese region is 30 minutes from Turin and nestled at the foot of towering peaks. Numerous sporting activities are available: hiking, via ferrata, climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and several lakes and rivers for swimming. It's an ideal region for exploring Turin and escaping into nature while discovering Piedmont.
La région de Lanzo Torinese est a 30min de Turin et au pied de hauts sommets. De nombreuses activités sportives y sont possibles : randonnée, via ferrata, escalade, alpinisme, canyoning, plusieurs lacs et rivières ou se baigner. C'est une région idéale pour découvrir Turin et s'évader dans la nature en découvrant le Piémont. -
