  In order to be able to continue our long-term journey, we are looking for 1-2 people who would like to live in a sustainably renovated half-timbered house on a close-to-nature yard and are willing to reliably look after some animals, the yard and the garden for at least 4 months.

  Um unsere Langzeitreise fortsetzen zu können, suchen wir 1-2 Menschen, die in einem nachhaltig renovierten Fachwerkhaus auf einem naturnahen Hofgelände wohnen möchten und bereit sind, sich für mindestens 4 Monate zuverlässig um einige Tiere, Hof und Garten zu kümmern.

  We love sustainable living. That's why a DIY solar system with battery storage covers the base load in normal operation and off-grid in the event of a power cut. The farm also includes an electricity-free organic wastewater treatment plant, an alternative composting toilet and extensive rainwater collection.
  With these and other measures, we also want to encourage other people to live in a resource-conserving and self-determined way with simple, robust solutions.

  Wir lieben ein nachhaltiges Leben. Darum deckt eine DIY-Solaranlage mit Batteriespeicher die Grundlast im Sommer und Offgrid bei Stromausfall. Zum Hof gehört auch eine stromlose Biokläranlage, eine alternative Komposttoilette, sowie eine umfangreiche Regenwassererfassung.
  Mit diesen und weiteren Maßnahmen wollen wir zugleich andere Menschen ermutigen, mit einfachen robusten Lösungen ressourcenschonend und selbstbestimmt zu leben.

  THE MINIMUM STAY should be 4 months as we are on a long term trip. It would be ideal if you could stay until December or March 2027.
  THE SHEEP graze on the nearby orchard from April to around mid-December. During this time, a daily inspection of the pasture is sufficient to ensure that the sheep are doing well and that the pasture fence is in order.
  THE CUDDLY CATs Freddy and Nepumuck get their food from the can in the morning and evening.
  THE GARDEN should receive a little care so that it doesn't become a "green hell". There is also space to grow your own vegetables.

  DER MINDESTAUENTHALT sollte 4 Monate sein, da wir auf langfristiger Reise sind. Ideal wäre, wenn du bis Dezember oder auch bis März 2027 bleiben kannst.
  DIE SCHAFE grasen auf der nahen Streuobstwiese von April bis etwa Mitte Dezember. In dieser Zeit genügt ein täglicher Kontrollgang zur Weide, um sicherzustellen, dass es den Schafen gut geht und der Weidezaun in Ordnung ist.
  DIE SCHMUSEKATER Freddy und Nepumuck bekommen morgens und abends ihr Futter aus der Dose.
  DER GARTEN sollte ein wenig Pflege erhalten, damit keine "grüne Hölle" daraus entsteht. Ausserdem ist Platz zum Anbau des eigenen Gemüses.

  Our apartment with kitchen-living room and south-facing terrace, large bedroom and bathroom is available to you. Natural wood furniture, warm colors and practical minimalism dominate. In addition to the private apartment, you can also use the vegetable garden with raised beds and the fruits from the 1 hectare orchard.
  Since we are not at home most of the time, you have to look after yourself. There are supermarkets and other shops in the nearest town 4 km away. We always do our shopping by bicycle. Or you can take the bus, which has a stop in the village. Of course, having your own car offers more options.
  We expect you to value our refuge and treat it with care. To ensure that everything always works well, occasional housework for care and maintenance should be a matter of course for you.

  Dir steht unsere Wohnung mit Wohnküche und Südterrasse, großem Schlafraum und Bad zur Verfügung. Naturholzmöbel, warme Farben und praktischer Minimalismus dominieren. Neben der Privatwohnung kann gern auch der Gemüsegarten mit Hochbeeten und die Früchte der 1 ha große Streuobstwiese genutzt werden.
  Da wir den größten Teil der Zeit nicht zu Hause sind, musst du dich selbst verpflegen. Es gibt Supermärkte und weitere Läden in der nächsten Stadt 4 km entfernt. Wir machen unsere Einkäufe immer mit dem Fahrrad. Oder du nimmst den Bus, der im Dorf eine Haltestelle hat. Ein eigenes Auto bietet natürlich mehr Möglichkeiten.
  Wir erwarten, dass du unser Refugium wertschätzt und sorgsam behandelst. Damit alles immer gut funktioniert, sollten gelegentliche Hausarbeiten zur Pflege und Instandhaltung für dich selbstverständlich sein.

  The green courtyard area is structured in a variety of ways, spacious and offers enough opportunities to enjoy the day outside in your favorite places and to grill around the campfire in the evening.
  Many well-developed bicycle and hiking trails take you through the agricultural landscape and along nearby rivers with some castles and monasteries. A larger forest area is in sight. We can help you find the most beautiful routes.
  The surrounding cities of Meissen, Dresden, Chemnitz or Leipzig with their rich cultural offerings can be reached in 30-60 minutes by bus, train or car.

  Das grüne Hofgelände ist vielseitig strukturiert, weitläufig und bietet genügend Möglichkeiten, um den Tag draußen an deinen Lieblingsplätzen zu genießen und abends am Lagerfeuer zu grillen.
  Viele gut ausgebaute Fahrrad- und Wanderwege führen dich durch die landwirtschaftlich geprägte Kulturlandschaft und entlang nahegelegener Flüsse mit einigen Schlössern und Klöstern. Ein größeres Waldgebiet ist in Sichtweite. Wir können dir helfen, die schönsten Routen zu finden.
  Die umliegenden Städte Meissen, Dresden, Chemnitz oder Leipzig mit ihren reichhaltigen kulturellen Angeboten sind in 30-60 min mit Bus, Bahn oder Auto zu erreichen.
