  We are a German and American family who has lived in many countries with our five children. We now have a large country house where we live, 5 minutes by bike to the historic village center of Fuveau, There are time periods where Peter or Tanja must travel, but in early November is a time when both would travel, with Peter away for three days while Tanja already has a longer voyage planned. However, we have a nanny living with us now who can take care of the kids when we travel, so our main needs are house and garden.
  
  - Helping me put up a fence... I can teach you how and work with you on part of it, but alone I've been really slow and we have a LOT of area where we want to replace the current fence (so the dogs mentioned below cannot escape so easily!)
  - once the fence is finished, there are other home and garden tasks like putting a new roof on the pergola, and small repairs to outbuildings in our garden, and general gardening work will pick up as spring is coming and we have a 6000 square meter area of land.
  
  Bonus points if someone is experienced with dogs. We have four of them. :-)
  
  You’ll have your own separate space using a guest house on the property.

  We’re a lively family with five kids who love sports, camping, hiking, museums, historic sites, and local festivals. The children speak four languages, have already traveled widely (our oldest child has been to 35 countries), and are very open and curious to meet l new people.
  
  Workawayers are welcome to join us in our activities and everyday family life. We’re happy to share local culture, history, and our own experiences, and we look forward to learning from your culture and creating meaningful exchanges together.

  I am putting up a new fence around the perimeter of the property and it takes much more time than expected. It isn’t hard, and I can teach you, it just takes a lot of time.

  Open to a variety of languages but on a day-to-day basis we speak mostly English at home, but the kids go to school in French and Tanja speaks to them in German. Tanja, Peter and the oldest two kids speak fluent Spanish and the younger kids understand it. Our au pair is Colombian, so the younger kids are learning more Spanish! Bonus if a German speaker could help the older ones with their German writing!

  We have bikes you can borrow, and there is a bus line to go into Aix en Provence. We are 15 minutes by car to Aix-en-Provence, a major tourist center, 30 minutes to the center of France's 2nd largest city, Marseille, and 30 minutes by car to beaches. From our window you see Saint Victoire Mountain, popular for hiking, and there are even hiking trails that pass through our neighborhood.
