  Hello, we are Giuseppe and Julia a well separated couple with two daughters Lubna (5 years) and Sofia (2 years). We live an easy life in a yurt in the northwest of Sicily, near San vito lo capo, next to the Monte Cofano reserve, in a piece of land, between the sea and the montain.
  This place has always been shared with a lot of different people, known and unknown friends, that spent time and experiences with music and other kind of expressive arts, playing, cooking and eating together.
  For living during summer we run a little bar just down the road on the beach. As well we rent a house, just next to the yurt, to tourists during the whole year. In wintertime we also sell fresh sicilian olive oil ;)

  Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje

  People that will be hosted in our place called " Frassino", can benefit from Sicilian cooking, including our oldstyle wood stove, get the feeling of a tipical Sicilian family life, and learn other languages, as Italian English or German. The house is full of musical instruments that want to be played, and Giuseppe used to play guitar since he was a child, so for those who are interested, they can also learn some guitar skills.
  
  We meet a lot of friends (some are also hosts) in our freetime, and for us it is always a pleasure to include our workawayers in the circle!
  
  Nearby there is the opportunity to do some trekking, in the montains that surround our land, and can also go to enjoy the beautiful sea that is just two hundreds meters from us. We have a lot of sport equipments like stand up paddle, climbing, surf and skate.

  Ayuda

  November-May:
  We live in paradise, but things are slowly falling apart...we would like to fresh up the whole place step by step. Ideas and creativity are very welcome. We have a lot of space and material available and would like to use as much as possible what we already have, putting some new energy and bring it back to life :)
  At the moment we are planning to build a compost toilet and would need some help and ideas for that.
  As well we would like to increase our vegetable garden.
  
  We would need help either for building, gardening or babysitting.
  Lubna goes to kindergarden in the mornings, so it would mainly be Sofia to take care of. She is a very easy baby but still some experience with babies is requested!
  
  May-September:
  In summer we run the bar just down the road on the beach and will be pretty busy with that. So we mainly need help with the kids and maybe some cooking would be amazing :)
  
  We usually cook fresh food every day, but anyway cooking and also keeping clean the house together is always very welcome :)
  
  We hope you understand that for certain tipe of work we need experienced people.

  We love to learn languages just by meeting people and trying to communicate. We are not the kind of people that sit on the table and study.

  Alojamiento

  The volunteers will sleep in tents we have in the land available for them, using all the accomodation that we have inside the house, kitchen, bathroom and living room, as well as the outside barbeque.
  In the coldest moths December/January and sometimes February, the house, we usually rent to the tourists, is available for the workawayers. There is also an Internet access.
  For Internet in general, we can give Hotspot anytime!

  Algo más...

  In their freetime, they'll have the opportunity to go visit with the available buses, San vito lo capo, Scopello, Castellammare, Trapani and also Palermo. They can do a lot of activities like climbing, stand up paddelling, surfing, skating and organised horse riding tours, visit the Egadi islands, and more...
  
  We love to be with friends almost always :) But it can happen that we need some familytime with the children...so workawayers should be able to enjoy their freetime independently.

  Our Caravan spot is in our garden under the olive trees. Max hight 2.50m, max length 5m. Bathroom and kitchen is inside the house and must be shared with us.
