Hello!
We are a couple living in the beautiful countryside of Normandy, in a small village near the Château de Beaumesnil. Our names are Typhaine and Valentin. We enjoy a simple and peaceful life surrounded by nature and animals.
At home we have sheep and goats who live outside in the pastures all year round. We also share the house with some cats, rabbits and a dog. Taking care of the animals is part of our daily life and we are slowly developing a small personal countryside project around animals and sharing rural life.
We are looking for friendly and motivated people who enjoy animals, nature and outdoor life.
The help can include:
- feeding and taking care of the animals
- helping with the care of the outdoor areas
- small outdoor tasks depending on the season
The help is usually around 2 to 5 hours per day, depending on what needs to be done, and of course you will also have some days off to relax or explore the area.
We live a quiet countryside life but we also enjoy spending time with friends, either at home or going out together. If you would like, we would be happy to include you in our activities such as visiting local villages, going to markets or discovering nice places in the area.
We also really enjoy meeting people from different cultures. It would be a pleasure to exchange with you, improve our English and help you practice or learn some French if you would like.

We love meeting people from different cultures, so your visit is also an opportunity for language exchange. We would be happy to practice English with you and help you improve your French, while learning from your culture, language, and experiences in return.
We also enjoy going out and sharing experiences with friends, such as attending village festivals, going to the cinema or restaurants, or exploring interesting places nearby. You are very welcome to join us and discover the area while enjoying social and cultural activities together.
Overall, this experience is about sharing, learning, and enjoying life together in a calm and welcoming countryside environment.

Most of the help is related to animals and outdoor life. You may help with feeding and taking care of the sheep and goats, checking water, and making sure everything is fine in the fields. We also have some friendly cats, rabbits and a dog who love attention.
Depending on the season, we can share the tasks together, whether it's outdoor tasks, gardening, or small improvements around the house. Sometimes we will do tasks side by side, and other times you can enjoy doing tasks independently. The idea is to help together in a relaxed and friendly way, learning from each other along the way.
You don’t need to be an expert. If you enjoy animals, nature, and being outdoors, you will quickly learn and feel part of our daily life. We love showing how we care for the animals and sharing the rhythm of countryside living.
This is also a wonderful opportunity to discover rural life in Normandy, meet people from different cultures, practice languages, and share experiences together. We look forward to exchanging ideas, stories, and learning from each other during your stay.

You will stay in a private room of your choice in our traditional Normandy house. The house is very large, full of character, and surrounded by nature, giving a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. We try to keep the house clean so that everyone feels comfortable.
The bathroom is shared with us, and we make sure it’s always clean and comfortable for our guests.
We love cooking and will prepare delicious homemade meals, and we can adapt to different dietary needs if needed. Sharing meals is a great way to enjoy conversation, learn about each other’s culture, and feel part of the household.
Overall, the accommodation is comfortable, friendly, and perfect for those who want to experience the charm of Normandy while enjoying a warm and social environment.

Our home is located in a peaceful countryside, yet we are close to Paris and the Normandy coast, making it easy to explore both the city and the seaside. We are happy to take you on local outings or help you get to the train station for further travels.
