  We're a small family of three (plus 2 cats), living in a lovely neighbourhood just out of Ballina. Our garden backs onto a small park and nature reserve and a bike path takes you straight to Ballina and the beaches beyond.
  By car, it takes us 5mins to Ballina, 10 mins to a number of beautiful beaches and 20mins to Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay.
  We only recently moved to this property and have a big list of little projects around the house and especially the garden. We are planning to create a bit of a natural sanctuary out the back with some landscaping and planting to be done, and we will add a little deck with a Spa and. Sauna to relax… in the house, we are painting walls and are still working out the best flow of furniture and decor…

  Our guests will experience family life in the Rainbow Region of Northern NSW. We live a low tech lifestyle, which means that we don't watch TV and keep screen times to a minimum. Instead, we try to make the most of what this beautiful area has to offer: go on bushwalks, go to the beach surfing or just hanging out and we are more than happy to share this with our guests.

  Ayuda

  We are mainly looking for a helping hand in the garden and around the house: a bit of planting and landscaping, setting up garden beds, mulching, mowing some minor DIY building tasks and cleaning around the house (if needed) or cooking (if you like it). At times, we get quite busy with work, school and activities and aren’t able to assist our workawayers much with their tasks around the house. Other times, when we’ve got time, we’ll happily join in and work alongside our travellers.

  Fully furnished room with king single bed plus trundle. We welcome small families but would need to discuss sleeping arrangements.

  Our place is a great starting point to explore the beautiful northern rivers area with only a short drive to numerous beaches, the hinterland with its rainforests and creeks for swimming or to just enjoy the towns and markets of the area. We can provide lifts to town or the beach at times but having your own car or van would just make your stay with us easier and give you more choice.
