Learn and experience the rural Yukon, view untouched wilderness and wildlife, experience mountain living in a natural environment.
Haines Junction is also home to the Champagne Aishik First Nation and offers great opportunities for connection and learning about First Nations culture in Canada. Our little mountain village is multi-cultural mix of people, all who have chosen the Yukon as home. The Yukon abounds with history, from the First Peoples to the Gold Rush of 1898 to the building of the Alaska Highway.
Kluane National parks offers a large variety of trails (single or multi-day hikes) and opportunities for exploration and contains 12 of the 15 highest mountains in North America. On your days off, you'll have the chance to hike, view wildlife and should you wish, catch a ride to Whitehorse to take in more of the Yukon culture. Haines Junction is a vibrant, progressive community, filled with music and events all summer long (Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Chilkat International Bike Relay, weekly music at the local bakery featuring Yukon and Canadian Artists), a weekly market and a local Artist's Guild store open daily.
Our hostel hosts travelers from all over the world, most being adventurers with amazing stories to tell around our nightly campfire.El anfitrión ofrece una paga acorde al salario mínimo
