  We are a family of three people and three pets (two cats and a small dog). We moved to Lisbon in 2024, and we are still discovering it's beauties and opportunities. We enjoy getting to know new people, new places, new cultures, new cuisines, and new boardgames.

  I (Ioana) am a continuous learner, and I like to model other people's good habits, interests, attitudes and patterns of behavior, as long as I see them as a good influence in my life, and my family’s. So the cultural exchange and the chance to do tasks together is what is exciting for me. We will have boardgames evenings, shopping outings, cooking different healthy and delicious recipes, walks around the neighborhood with the dog. You can also play on the electric piano, or challenge our son at the ping-pong table.
  We can also explore subjects around our professions: I am an interior designer (and professional organizer as a hobby), with a background in volunteer work in NGOs and non-formal education. My husband is an entrepreneur with a passion for developing SaaS for marketing.
  We live close to a metro station, a train station, and several bus stations, so getting around the city is easy.

  Me and my husband, we both work from home and have flexible schedules. Anyone choosing to spend time with us, will join me in typical housework: keeping the place tidy, walking the dog, experiencing new recipes in the kitchen.   Alojamiento

  We live in an apartment building. For the time of your stay, you will have your own sofa bed, a dresser and an office desk in a private area of the living room, large windows with electric blinds, air conditioning, and access to the kitchen and a shared bathroom. We will cook and eat together; but, of course, you can also buy, store and consume your own favorites. Ours is a non-smoking home, and we do not consume alcohol.

  We live close to the Lisbon airport. Some interesting places to visit in Lisbon are walking distance from our apartment (Oceanário de Lisboa, Pavilhão do Conhecimento - Ciência Viva, Meo Arena - for concerts or events, and Parque das Nações, which offers many parks and beautiful views of the river and the Vasco da Gama bridge). Also metro/train/bus stations are close and will allow you to explore the rest of the city.
