  We found this beautiful land in 2004, after searching for it for around 10 years, going through all the south of Europe till we found this specific land which we envisioned.
  The region used to be part of the bread basket of the area, with beautiful Moorish stone terraces, being completely self-sufficient. Years of deforestation turned the whole region into a harsher, drier place.
  Our land used to be one of the old “corrals “ When we bought the land (7 hectares) it already had almost a thousand olive and almond trees, some as old as 400 years.
  We have planted thousands of trees - shade as well as fruit trees, shrubs, vegetables, flowers....creating biodiversity and micro-climates, we want to bring back life into the land, improve the earth (which we already did and now do very intensively), nourish the trees and transform it into a green heaven. It is a magical place, very powerful.
  We are three partners to this land - Avi, Lilu and Ruth - are the founders of a world-wide known methodology that has been taught and practiced in Europe and Israel for the last 35 years. The methodology teaches body attention. We relate to nature as we teach and relate to bodies, as something to care for, nourish and let grow to its natural potential. This is our vision for the future of this place.
  
  We have been living in different countries for many years and chose to settle in this specific part of Spain which is beautiful , empty and with very tolerant people. Easy to feel at home.
  
  The base of our project is built on a permaculture design; we planted two syntropic forests and plan to continue to do so regularly. We keep on enriching the soil and some parts of the land have a very rick soil already (we introduce micro organisms, minerals, grow green cover in many places and more). We have a well managed water flow around the land and keep on improving it. We constantly add more species of vegetables, bushes, trees, water plants. We have an active green house where we grow our own vegetable seedling, bushes and trees, using different methodologies. There are more.
  
  We are very open to new ideas for projects that fit to the needs of the land and the people living on it!
  
  Our focus is to help transform this land into a place of natural abundance!
  We are working with professionals in order to regenerate, nourish, structure and balance the soil so that it activates a permanent, sustainable and self-sufficient fertility system to take care of the olive trees and all the plants on our farm.
  
  We are looking for people who have real interest in the project and love this (healthy) style of life. We look for people who have naturally an attitude of partners to the project, relating to it as their own. We welcome people who are mature and responsible (this not being a question of age), positive, honest, energetic and are happy to work (not doing things as a duty or as employees), proactive, flexible and like to live in a community of individuals.
  We need people who have had some past experience in living in nature and dealing with some kind of agriculture and/or bio construction) and or animal care etc.
  Normally, we like to receive volunteers for at least one month. Most of our volunteers stay for a minimum of 3-4 months. Not all our volunteers are workawayers. We are welcoming volunteers with many different backgrounds, we like a diverse community, with individuals who are passionate about different things and can enrich each other and the project.
  
  We are drinking water from the well onsite, use our own organic olive oil, eat our own vegetables (still to be developed to have more variety) and our own fruits, electricity is solar, We are quite far from the city, hardly any light pollution (wonderful for star lovers), incredible silence most of the time, very few cars passing by....heaven.
  The weather is very varied. Nothing stays for long, in ma matter of hours sometimes. The weather can be pretty extreme; hot and dry sometimes, sometime windy or with extreme heavy rainstorms a few times a year, which allow us to harvest much water.
  We are in the process of creating a self-sufficient, resilient farmstead, but it’s still in a pioneers state.
  
  You can spend your free time as you want, on the land or explore the surroundings, there are great trails to run, walk or bike in the mountains but you can also hang out in a hammock around the pond in summer or read or write a book or play music by the chimney in winter. You can always create your won projects on the land, get the OK from us and then be free to create and learn.
  
  We have a mobile homes with two rooms, a caravan, a single room in a wooden house and a big room in the old stone house that is some 300-400 years old. We provide the groceries you need and the cooking is done on a rotation base. You are welcome to eat anything that grows on the land. The cleaning, cooking and taking care of the common spaces are done on rotation basis.
  
  You are asked to help 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We are flexible and if anyone prefers to do some hours in the afternoon instead of the morning or taking a day off during the week and do some hours at the weekend we can arrange all this with good communication. We like people who enjoy to help and are not busy looking at the watch, but fully involved in what they are doing.

  * At any given moment we have people from at least 4-5 different nationalities, speaking different languages, coming from different backgrounds - a very enriching experience.

  The accommodation options are varied:
  * Common house - this is the community space where we cook together. There are two rooms in this house. The house has shared bathroom and kitchen.

  The accommodations share an outdoor, bio-construction bathroom (built with natural materials from the land).
